HLTV’s Week 39 Counter-Strike roundup, published October 2, 2026 and updated October 3, covers a revised VRS invite simulator, SAW’s LeonBet Masters victory, several roster moves and a player’s explanation of why competing from Denmark became difficult. NAVI’s 91.2% Singapore Major qualification figure is a simulator forecast—not a confirmed place at the Major.
What changed in HLTV’s VRS simulator?
HLTV says its invite simulator now estimates team strength using map results and rosters, rather than relying on raw VRS points alone. It also accounts for teams registered to overlapping events and runs 1,000 simulations, up from 500. HLTV’s VRS simulator update gives NAVI a predicted 91.2% chance of qualifying for the Singapore Major. That figure is a model output, not an achieved qualification or a guarantee; the roundup does not independently validate the simulator’s methodology.

How did SAW win the LeonBet Masters?
SAW won the inaugural LeonBet Masters Season 1 in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, defeating Fluxo 2–1 in the grand final on September 27, 2026. HLTV reports that SAW beat INFINITE, MOUZ NXT and RBLS on the way to the final. It says the title run earned SAW 456 Valve points and lifted the team 110 places to 51st in the global VRS. The final score is the tournament result; the points and ranking movement are HLTV’s reported figures.
