Nothing could be preparing to expand its audio lineup into speakers, but it has not announced a speaker. The company’s partnership with KEF is intended to help it enter new audio categories, while teaser clues reported in 2026 have prompted speculation about a speaker. Neither confirms that one is coming.
What has Nothing actually announced?
In a May 13, 2025 announcement, Nothing said its partnership with audio company KEF would support expansion into new audio categories and that several acoustically co-developed products were already in progress. The announcement did not identify those products as speakers, or provide a speaker name, specifications, price, or release date. Nothing’s partnership announcement describes a broader collaboration, not a confirmed speaker launch.

Nothing’s Head of Smart Products Marketing, Andrew Freshwater, said: “Our products launching later this year mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter of our collaboration and the future of Nothing Audio.” The statement refers to the partnership and Nothing Audio generally; it does not confirm a particular product category.

Why are people speculating about a speaker?
A July 2026 report by T3 described teaser clues that some readers interpreted as pointing to a speaker, including a speaker emoji and an image that appeared to show a grille. The report also considered an alternative interpretation: that the hardware could be open-ear headphones. These are reported clues and speculation, not an official product announcement. Does Nothing already sell a speaker?
Nothing’s US earbuds-and-headphones storefront and US all-products catalog list headphones and earbuds, rather than a speaker, in the snapshots retrieved October 9, 2026. Those are regional storefront listings and can change; they should not be taken as a complete picture of every market. The reviewed listings do not establish that Nothing has launched a speaker. Nothing’s US audio collection and US all-products catalog show the products currently listed there.
The company’s current adjacent audio products include Headphone (1), Headphone (a), CMF Headphone Pro, Nothing Ear models, and CMF earbuds. Headphone (1) is an existing headphone, not evidence that a speaker exists.

What to look for if Nothing confirms one
Until Nothing names a product, there is no confirmed Nothing speaker to compare or assess. If an announcement comes, the useful details to check are:
