Where to find Perimeter Station
- From the Field Office, head toward the road east/southeast of it in the Central area, on the route toward the Patterned Factory. Look for Perimeter Area signage and a subway entrance along the road. These are guide-described directions rather than official map coordinates.
- Walkthroughs report enemies guarding the approach. Clear them before descending to the platform.
- At the platform, locate the Tuning Device and read the nearby calibration note. Use the note and the marked squares to distinguish the required placements from other yellow-taped squares.
How to get the three Calibration Units
Track-level unit
Look in the moldy stretch beside the tracks, behind the stairs you used to reach the platform.

Check the top of the staircase opposite the entrance stairs.
Unit behind the locked door
The remaining unit is behind a door opened using a Power Core charge. Locate the Power Core and work out the route to its receiver before taking the charge: the walkthrough describes the transfer as time-sensitive, so planning first helps avoid having to redo the route.

Where to place the units
Place one unit in each of these three squares:
- The yellow square nearest the Tuning Device.
- The square at the top of the opposite staircase.
- The square inside the upstairs shop.
The location where you find the locked-room unit is not necessarily where it belongs. Use the marked squares and the note by the device; extra yellow tape can be misleading.
Activate the Tuning Device
Once all three units are in the reported squares, return to the Tuning Device and activate it. If the interaction does not complete the reroute, check that each unit is in one of the three locations above and consult the nearby note before trying again.

Why walkthroughs describe different steps
Two detailed walkthroughs describe three Calibration Units, a Power Core, and a Tuning Device. A separate guide instead describes two switch mechanisms and a platform terminal. These accounts should not be combined into one procedure: the three-unit route has corroboration from two guides, while the shorter version comes from one. The official Remedy material confirms the game’s release context but does not document this puzzle, so the exact current-build prompts and terminology are not established. If your screen presents the two-mechanism sequence or different names, prioritize the in-game note and prompts rather than forcing the three-unit steps.
