To complete the five-camera Downtown finale in Control Resonant’s “Freeze Frame” side story, first find all the camera photos, then travel to the marked Lookout Point and shut each camera lid. Follow the route from the tripod camera to the green structure, concrete wall ledge, yellow-marked platform, and courtyard camera by the frozen agents. A walkthrough reports that shutting the final lid completes the story, awards the Untapped Shiny Pebble, and displays the Panopticon Intern trophy notification. Nerd’sChalk’s Downtown walkthrough describes the objective as “Contain all the Cameras in Downtown.”
Before you start: Downtown is the finale, not the whole camera hunt
The five Downtown cameras are the closing sequence of Freeze Frame. They become available after you find every camera photo and Zoe reports the Downtown sequence. The broader Freeze Frame collection is a separate task: PowerPyx counts 14 cameras across seven zones, with two cameras in each zone. PowerPyx’s full camera guide covers that wider hunt.

At each Downtown stop, approach the camera and interact with it to shut the lid. The camera can spot you if you approach from the front. In the wider hunt, PowerPyx says a spotted camera disappears; move away until you hear its respawn click, then try a different approach. Elevated routes, abilities, power sources, and locked doors can affect access to cameras elsewhere in the quest.
Route through all five Downtown cameras
- Go to Lookout Point. Once all camera photos are found and the Downtown objective is active, head to the marked Lookout Point and follow the route.
- Shut the tripod camera. Find the first camera mounted on a tripod and use the Shut Camera Lid interaction.
- Climb to the green structure. Reach its top and shut the camera lid there.
- Check the high concrete wall ledge. Reach the camera on the ledge and shut its lid.
- Cross to the yellow-marked platform. Shut the fourth camera’s lid on the platform. The available walkthrough does not specify a more detailed access route for this stop.
- Return to the courtyard. Shut the final camera near the frozen agents. This is the last of the five Downtown stops.
The landmarks identify the sequence, but the source walkthrough does not provide a precise movement path between every stop. If a camera catches you, use the respawn-and-retry approach described above rather than assuming the camera remains in place.

What completing Freeze Frame does for Panopticon Intern
Freeze Frame is one of the Altered Item side stories associated with the Panopticon Intern trophy. The trophy guide listed in the walkthrough sources includes Freeze Frame among five required side stories and says Freeze Frame does not have a separate trophy of its own. Nerd’sChalk reports that the Downtown finale displays the Panopticon Intern trophy notification when the last lid is shut; the trophy is tied to the broader set of stories, not exclusive to this camera sequence.
The same walkthrough reports that the finale awards the Untapped Shiny Pebble. It describes the artifact as slowly restoring health up to 50% while the player uses a Gravity Anomaly; that effect is guide-reported information, not an independently tested result.

Can you finish the camera hunt after the story?
PowerPyx says the camera activities remain available in free roam after the story, so the wider collection does not have to be completed during the main campaign. Its count of 14 cameras across seven zones refers to the full Freeze Frame hunt, not the five-camera Downtown finale.
