Why Plan of Attack has no clear markers
Plan of Attack starts automatically after Arish’s Briefing; PowerPyx lists its starting location as Central Zone > Field Office. It is part of the Contain the Crisis story questline. Its premise is that Hiss tremors are weakening the Pattern Barrier behind the Evac Site, and Arish wants Dylan’s help getting the CFD working. Rather than follow a standard set of mission markers, use the linked objectives in the Quest Log as your checklist. PowerPyx’s walkthrough reports that the mission has no ordinary objective markers.

Complete the required Resonant encounters
Defeat the Resonant entities in both the West Incursion Zone and Central Zone. The West encounter has an additional prerequisite: PowerPyx says you also need to progress Jesse Sightings: The Incursion Fault to reach that zone’s Resonant. If the West target is inaccessible, check that linked quest rather than searching for a Plan of Attack marker.

Reroute subway power with Power Lines
Complete Power Lines to satisfy Plan of Attack’s subway-power objective. AllThingsHow’s third-party route guide describes four station reroutes:

- Perimeter Station: Place three calibration units on the yellow marker squares, then activate the tuning device or console.
- East Park Station: Place the three units on their yellow markers and activate the tuning device. The guide also describes using the device to reach a locked room.
- Factory Station: Place the three units and activate the console. The guide says a shift at this console leads to Vanished Station; it also describes climbing onto a train car to find one Factory calibration unit.
- Vanished Station: Complete the two platform reroutes after the Factory console shift. The guide describes moving power cores between sockets to open access.
The three surface stations—Perimeter, East Park, and Factory—can be completed in any order. After both Vanished platforms are complete, speak with Dr. Florez to finish Power Lines. These station directions are reported by AllThingsHow; they are guide instructions, not independently verified route notes.
Install the probe relays in Into the Sinkhole
Complete Into the Sinkhole to satisfy the relay objective. AllThingsHow’s route directs you to take the FBC diving bell down from the Evacuation Zone, clear the Hiss encounter in the distorted mid-air room, and continue to the bedrock chamber. Install all three probe relays there. Once they are placed, the objective changes to escaping the Sinkhole, so finish that escape as well.

Confirm completion and continue
There is no separate Plan of Attack turn-in. After completing the Resonant encounters, Power Lines, and Into the Sinkhole, open the Quest Log and check the Notes: Plan of Attack entry. PowerPyx says finishing the listed sub-missions completes the mission and unlocks Enemy of My Enemy. AllThingsHow likewise says no turn-in is required. If the entry is still active, check whether a station reroute or the final conversation with Dr. Florez was missed.
What the mission structure means
The linked objectives are consistent with the broader structure Remedy describes for Control Resonant: Senior Communications Manager Miika Huttunen says the story follows Dylan’s Journey alongside World Quests, and describes Resonants as major boss encounters tied to story progression. He also says, “Melee hits restore your Combat Ability resource.” That general combat context may help during encounters, but it does not replace the mission checklist above. The official PlayStation post adds that “The goal isn’t to ‘clear’ the map — it’s to explore it on your terms.” These are broad game-system remarks, not specific directions for Plan of Attack.
