Conan Exiles Dungeons Guide: Locations, Bosses and Loot (Enhanced, 2026)

The Dregs is the best starting dungeon in Conan Exiles. It is the first stop in the Dungeon Delver journey, has a clearly identified boss, and provides several early knowledge unlocks. From there, the commonly used Exiled Lands route runs through the Palace of the Witch Queen, the Barrow King, Midnight Grove, the Temple of Frost, the Black Keep, the Well of Skelos, Kurak’s Lair, the Sunken City, the Abandoned Silver Mine, Warmaker’s Sanctuary and the Wine Cellar. The newest destination is the Cyclopean Halls beneath the Unnamed City, added with Part One of the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc on July 21, 2026.

This guide separates confirmed knowledge unlocks from chance-based chest and legendary rewards. What changed in Conan Exiles Enhanced

Conan Exiles Enhanced received its free Unreal Engine 5 upgrade on May 5, 2026. On July 21, 2026, Funcom launched Part One of the four-part Legacy of the Giant-Kings arc. Its first dungeon, the Cyclopean Halls, is beneath the Unnamed City and adds sacrificial chambers, new monsters and a culminating boss encounter. The launch also restored Legendary repair, allowing worn Legendary weapons and armor to be restored instead of discarded.

Only Part One is live in the published announcement. Do not assume that later story parts, their bosses or their rewards are available until a current patch note confirms them.

The Exiled Lands dungeon route at a glance

A progression-oriented route lists twelve major dungeon stops. It is an outline rather than a mandatory linear order; access requirements, character strength and server configuration can make a different order sensible.

The Hidden Gaming Lair’s Conan Exiles Enhanced map database reported two maps and 228,994 locations on October 11, 2026. Its checklist displayed eight dungeon locations and 193 bosses, counts that use a different checklist scope from the twelve-stop progression outline above. Use the map’s current markers to confirm entrances rather than relying on a remembered coordinate.

Dungeon-by-dungeon details

The Dregs: the practical first run

The Dregs are flooded sewers beneath the Unnamed City and the first dungeon associated with the Dungeon Delver journey. The Abysmal Remnant is the final boss. Steles in the boss room teach Dredger, Herpetology, Epic Reptile Leather and the Abysmal weapon set. Enemies can supply Abysmal Flesh, Abysmal Eye and Abysmal Fang, while the Staff of the Triumvirate can appear occasionally.

Run it first when you want a defined objective and permanent knowledge unlocks rather than a gamble for a legendary item. Water movement can split a party, so keep your follower close, heal before entering the boss room and leave enough inventory space for the stele unlocks and creature materials.

Palace of the Witch Queen

The Palace appears in the established Exiled Lands dungeon route, but the current published details do not provide a verified boss, access requirement or reward list. Confirm the entrance and encounter names on the current map or in-game journal before making it a dedicated farming target. Do not treat an unverified chest result as a fixed drop.

The Barrow King

The Barrow King is another named route stop without a complete, currently verified boss-and-loot table in the available published details. Approach it as an exploration run: bring the standard healing, follower and spare-inventory kit, record the entrance on your map and check the actual boss-room reward before promising a recipe or material to a clanmate.

Midnight Grove

Midnight Grove is entered by consuming a Potion of Midnight obtained through the Child of Jhebbal Sag. Its final boss is Werewolf Impisi. Consuming Impisi’s Flesh of Remembrance teaches Bower of Jhebbal Sag. The grove also supplies Amanita mushrooms and contains chests with substantial loot.

The potion is an access item, so carry it only when the group is ready to enter. Because the mushroom and chest rewards are useful beyond the boss fight, reserve inventory space and decide in advance whether the run is for the religion knowledge, Amanita harvesting or chest contents.

The Temple of Frost

The Temple of Frost is part of the northern progression route. The available current details do not establish a universal boss or reward table. Treat the regional climate as the planning issue: cold protection, food and a recovery route matter more than chasing an assumed drop. Verify the encounter and its stele rewards in the current version before teaching a recipe to the clan.

The Black Keep

The Black Keep stands in the Frozen North at the end of the Bridge of the Betrayer, near the Ruins of Xullan. Its boss is the Kinscourge. Cold protection is essential; warm armor and a reliable healing supply prevent the approach from becoming more dangerous than the boss room.

Boss-room steles teach Pride of the Silent Legion and Kinscourge Weapons. Those unlock Silent Legion heavy armor plus Telith’s Lament and Telith’s Sorrow. Harvesting the encounter provides the Heart of the Kinscourge and Tears of Two Races. These are known knowledge and material targets; do not promise that every ordinary container will contain them on every reset.

The Well of Skelos

The Well of Skelos belongs to the volcanic portion of the route. The current details supplied for this guide do not establish its boss or a complete reward list. Cooling supplies are the safe assumption for volcano travel. Check the live map and server rules before attempting a long run, because environmental damage and respawn timing can differ from an official-style setting.

Kurak’s Lair

Kurak’s Lair is listed as a major dungeon stop, but no verified access method, boss name or fixed loot table is established in the current published details. Plan an initial reconnaissance rather than a high-value farm: mark the entrance, identify the boss room and inspect which rewards are knowledge unlocks versus random container contents.

The Sunken City

The Sunken City appears in the route outline without a complete current encounter table. Water-focused areas reward conservative preparation: carry food and healing, avoid entering with a nearly full inventory and keep a clear retreat path. Confirm the actual boss and recipes in your version before building a farming loop around them.

Abandoned Silver Mine

The Abandoned Silver Mine is a named route destination, but the current published details do not give a universal boss, access key or reward list. Treat the first visit as mapping and information gathering. A server’s loot or respawn multipliers can make a mine run look very different from a default server.

Warmaker’s Sanctuary

Warmaker’s Sanctuary is described as the toughest Exiled Lands dungeon and is built as a multi-room gauntlet. The final boss is the Champion of the Warmaker. Because failure late in the run wastes more time than failure at an entrance, bring a leveled follower, a complete healing kit and enough durability for every room.

Rewards include Armor Scraps and possible Destroyer or Carnage legendary weapons. Steles teach Warmaker Weapons, Grandmaster Weaponsmith, Godbreaker Armor and Grandmaster Armorsmith. The legendary weapons are possible outcomes, not guaranteed drops; the steles and named knowledge are the dependable progression value.

Wine Cellar

Enter the Wine Cellar through the tavern door in Sepermeru’s Waterside district. Demon Thag and other cellar bosses are associated with the dungeon. Khari Steel is the gating material for advanced weapon and armor recipes, making the cellar a practical destination once your clan needs Khari technology.

Relic chests and containers may hold iron bars, steel bars, golem parts and, occasionally, Star Metal Ore. Those container results are chance-based. If you are farming Khari Steel, make that the primary objective and treat rare ore as a bonus rather than calculating a run around it.

Cyclopean Halls

The Cyclopean Halls are beneath the Unnamed City and form the first playable dungeon destination in Legacy of the Giant-Kings. Funcom describes sacrificial chambers, a dangerous domain and a culminating boss encounter. The published Part-One material does not provide a complete, stable boss-and-loot table for the entire four-part arc, so avoid guides that present later story rewards as already available.

Return to current patch notes before planning a repeat farm. Part Two and later story sections are time-sensitive, and their encounters may change the route or reward structure.

Which dungeon should you start with?

Choose the Dregs for a first dungeon experience. It is explicitly tied to the beginning of Dungeon Delver and offers several named steles plus identifiable creature materials. Choose Midnight Grove when your immediate goal is Jhebbal Sag knowledge or Amanita mushrooms and you already have the Potion of Midnight. Choose the Black Keep when you need Silent Legion or Kinscourge knowledge and can handle the Frozen North. Choose the Wine Cellar for Khari Steel. Save Warmaker’s Sanctuary for a group and build that can survive a multi-room gauntlet.

There is no evidence for a universal solo ranking across all twelve locations. Follower behavior, character build, server difficulty and respawn rules change the answer. A sensible progression test is whether you can clear a dungeon’s ordinary rooms without consuming your emergency healing; if not, increase preparation before attempting its boss.

Fixed unlocks versus chance-based loot

What to bring into a dungeon

• A leveled follower: use the follower to hold aggro and create space, but do not rely on it to survive a boss alone.
• Food and bandages: carry a normal healing supply for chip damage and reserve emergency potions for the boss or a retreat.
• Ranged or flanking damage: a bow, thrown weapon or a second attack angle helps when a boss punishes standing directly in front of it.
• Environmental protection: warm gear is important for the Black Keep and other Frozen North travel; cooling supplies are important on volcano routes.
• Durability and repair materials: inspect weapons, armor and follower equipment before leaving. Legendary repair is available in Enhanced, but a repair system does not replace spare durability during a long gauntlet.
• Open inventory slots: stele rewards, boss materials, bars, golem parts and chest loot can fill a pack faster than expected.
• A recovery plan: note the entrance, set a safe fallback point and avoid carrying every irreplaceable item into an unfamiliar dungeon.

A reliable dungeon-run procedure

1. Confirm the entrance and patch state. Check the current interactive map and your server’s rules. The published route names destinations, but not every route stop has a stable public coordinate or loot table.
2. Match protection to the environment. Equip warm gear for the Black Keep and northern travel, or cooling supplies for volcano routes. Carry the Potion of Midnight only when you are ready to enter Midnight Grove.
3. Clear the approach before the boss. Heal, repair and reorganize inventory outside the boss room. A follower that is already injured is a liability in the final encounter.
4. Secure permanent rewards first. Read boss-room steles and consume named teaching items before leaving. Then harvest materials and open containers.
5. Decide whether to extract or continue farming. If your target is a fixed recipe, leave after securing it. If your target is a chance-based ore, chest item or legendary weapon, continue only when your server’s respawn and travel time make another attempt worthwhile.
6. Record what your server actually drops. Note the boss, stele, container results and reset time. This prevents a clan from treating a one-time chest result as a guaranteed drop.

Server settings, patches and farming expectations

Difficulty, loot multipliers and respawn rates are configurable. A private server can make an encounter harder, increase container yield or shorten resets, while an official-style setting may produce a slower, less predictable farm. Always label a farming recommendation with the assumed settings; there is no universal drop-rate table covering every platform and configuration.

The same caution applies to the map database. Its October 11, 2026 figures are useful for navigation, but a checklist count is not proof that every route guide uses the same definition of “dungeon.” Patch notes and in-game behavior take priority when they disagree with an older route outline.

Common problems and fixes

I cannot enter Midnight Grove

Verify that you obtained the Potion of Midnight through the Child of Jhebbal Sag and are using the potion at the correct entrance. A normal healing potion will not substitute for the access item.

The Black Keep run ends before the boss

Replace ordinary travel gear with warm gear, bring additional healing and avoid spending durability on unnecessary fights. The approach is in the Frozen North, so cold protection is a requirement rather than an optional convenience.

A chest did not contain Star Metal Ore or a legendary weapon

Those are chance-based outcomes. The Wine Cellar’s occasional Star Metal Ore and Warmaker’s possible Destroyer or Carnage weapons are not guaranteed on every reset. Check your server’s loot settings before concluding that a table is broken.

The Cyclopean Halls guide lists bosses I cannot find

Part One launched on July 21, 2026, while the remaining Legacy of the Giant-Kings parts are time-sensitive. Recheck the latest patch notes and do not use a later-part boss list as a guide to currently available content.

Bottom line for a 2026 run

Start with the Dregs, then choose your next dungeon by the reward you need: Midnight Grove for Jhebbal Sag knowledge and Amanita, the Black Keep for Silent Legion and Kinscourge rewards, the Wine Cellar for Khari Steel, and Warmaker’s Sanctuary for the deepest established Exiled Lands challenge and its Grandmaster steles. Treat the other route stops as map-and-patch dependent until their current bosses and loot are confirmed. Enter every dungeon with a follower, healing, environmental protection and empty inventory space, and never confuse a possible chest or legendary result with a guaranteed drop.
