To use Conan Exiles admin commands, enable administrator access first. In single-player or on a server you administer, open Settings > Server Settings, choose Make Me Admin, and enter the server’s admin password. On PC, Ctrl+Shift+C opens the admin panel; Insert or ~ opens the text command line. Console players may need a USB keyboard, and some teleport and summon functions are unavailable on PS4.

Enable admin mode before entering commands
Commands are ignored or unavailable until your character has administrator rights. The password is the value configured as AdminPassword for the single-player game or server. Keep that password private: anyone who obtains it can use administrative powers while connected.

- Open Settings, then Server Settings.
- Select Make Me Admin.
- Enter the configured admin password and confirm. The game should report that administrative access has been granted.
You can also enter MakeMeAdmin [AdminPassword] in the command line, replacing the bracketed text with the real password. The brackets shown in command documentation indicate a value you supply; do not type the brackets themselves.
Open the admin panel or text console
Conan Exiles has two separate command entry points. The panel is a graphical set of buttons and fields, while the text console accepts command syntax directly. Having admin rights does not automatically open either interface.

Keyboard layouts can map the tilde key differently, so try Insert if ~ does not open the line. On console, the menu may be available while text entry still requires a physical keyboard.
Command syntax that prevents common errors
- Type the command name and each argument in the order shown. Spaces separate arguments.
- Replace values such as
PlayerName,ItemID,Quantity,X,Y, andZwith your own values. - Use the exact in-game spelling of a character name. Names containing spaces may require quotation marks, depending on the command parser and game build.
- Coordinates are numeric world positions. If a command accepts a setting or message containing spaces, quotation marks may be required.
- Command availability can vary by platform and game build. A command shown in a general list is not proof that every current console release supports it.
Movement and player-control commands
The following commands cover the most common recovery, travel, and testing tasks. Use them only after confirming that the intended target is correct.

Teleport and summon functions are specifically reported as potentially unavailable on PS4. If a command is accepted but produces no movement, verify administrator status, platform support, player spelling, and the destination coordinates before trying again.

Spawn items and change attributes
Spawn an item
SpawnItem [ItemID] [Quantity] creates the requested number of an item. Item IDs are easy to mistype and can differ from the name displayed in inventory. When possible, use the admin panel to search for the item and let the game supply the correct identifier. Start with a small quantity, especially for building materials or stackable resources, to avoid filling your inventory or creating an unintended surplus.
Change your character’s attributes
SetStat [stat] [value] changes a player attribute. A documented example is AttributeHealth; other accepted attributes depend on the game build. Enter the desired numeric value, then verify the resulting status rather than assuming every stat uses the same scale.
Change a follower’s attributes
SetFollowerStat [stat] [value] applies an attribute value to a follower. Target or select the intended follower first. Keep a record of the original value so you can restore it if the new number makes the follower unbalanced or causes unexpected behavior.

Communication, names, and diagnostics

Funcom’s manual also documents copying coordinates through its administrative tools. Record a location immediately after copying it, including which map and area it belongs to; coordinates without that context are easy to misapply.
Read and change server settings
List the available settings
GetAllServerSettings prints the server settings exposed to the command system. Use it before attempting a change because names are exact and the available list can vary with the game version. Save the output in a text file so you can compare the server before and after an experiment.
Set one value
SetServerSetting serverSetting[FString] Value[FString] changes a server setting while in game. Replace the first placeholder with the setting name and the second with its value. Quotation marks may be required when either value contains spaces or special characters. For example, treat the following as a pattern rather than a command to copy unchanged: SetServerSetting "SettingName" "Value".

A setting change is different from a one-time convenience command: it can affect everyone on the server and may persist after a restart. Confirm the setting name, write down the original value, change one variable at a time, and test with a small group before making broader changes.
Using commands on Xbox and PlayStation
The administrative concepts are the same across platforms, but input support is not. A controller may open the settings route without providing a practical way to type long commands. The official wiki notes that a keyboard may need to be plugged into a console for command entry. Use a compatible USB keyboard, return to the admin interface, and test with a harmless command such as PrintPlayerInfo before attempting a teleport or server-setting change.
- Xbox: enable admin access through the server settings screen, then use the available console command interface or keyboard.
- PlayStation: expect command availability to vary. Teleport and summon functions may not be available on PS4, even when other administrative controls work.
- All consoles: if a key combination does nothing, check the game’s current control mapping and try the menu-based panel instead of assuming the password failed.
Safety checklist for administrators
Funcom warns that hidden server settings remain hidden for a reason and can have an extremely negative impact on gameplay. Treat administrative access as a controlled tool, not a permanent cheat mode.

- Back up or record the current server configuration before changing anything.
- Use a test save or a quiet maintenance window for experimental commands.
- Change one setting at a time and note the exact command, value, date, and administrator.
- Prefer reversible, targeted commands over global setting changes when solving a single player’s problem.
- Tell affected players before moving them, changing their stats, spawning resources, or broadcasting a message.
- Disable
FlyandGodafter testing, and remove temporary spawned items if they compromise the server’s intended progression.
Troubleshooting commands that do nothing
The command is rejected or has no effect
Return to Settings > Server Settings and select Make Me Admin again. If the server uses a password, verify that the password was entered exactly, including capitalization. Then open the text console with Insert or ~ and test PrintPlayerInfo. A successful response confirms that the console is receiving commands.
A player cannot be found
Run PrintPlayerInfo and copy the exact in-game name. Names can differ from platform or account names. Use the result with TeleportToPlayer or SummonPlayer, and be careful with spaces and punctuation.
A teleport sends someone somewhere unsafe
Use SummonPlayer to bring the player to a known safe administrator location, or use TeleportPlayer PlayerName X Y Z with coordinates recorded from a safe area. Avoid repeating an unknown coordinate set until you have confirmed the map and surface.
A server-setting change causes problems
Use the saved original value and issue a matching SetServerSetting command to restore it. If the server behaves unpredictably, stop making additional changes, preserve the diagnostic output from GetServerHealth, and restart only after recording what was changed. Some settings may require a restart before their effects are fully visible.

The safest workflow is consistent: authenticate, open the correct interface, verify the target, run the smallest command that solves the problem, and record any persistent setting change. Because command lists can omit build-specific server variables and platform support is uneven, use the in-game panel and the settings output as the final authority for your installation.
