1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsThe Colorways CW-MSPDCMBO1 is a basic wireless mouse for everyday use and light work, not a strong all-purpose or gaming pick. It connects through a USB receiver, has no Bluetooth, and runs on two AAA batteries. Its ambidextrous shape and 58.9 g tested weight are useful, but the limited controls and weak fast-game performance are important trade-offs.
What the Colorways CW-MSPDCMBO1 is—and what it is not
RTINGS.com reviewed the CW-MSPDCMBO1 on September 28, 2026, after buying a unit from Family Dollar and testing it under its Methodology v1.5.2. RTINGS describes it as an inexpensive wireless mouse suited to basic everyday use or light work. That is the scope of the review, not an independent hands-on test by this publication. Its main practical strengths are a receiver-based wireless connection and a genuinely ambidextrous shape. Its compromises are equally straightforward: no Bluetooth, no side buttons, and limited suitability for demanding work or competitive gaming.
How it connects and what it needs
The mouse uses a wireless USB receiver and does not support Bluetooth. If your computer has no USB-A port, you will need a compatible adapter to connect the receiver. Check your device’s available ports before choosing it; this mouse cannot pair directly over Bluetooth.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Comfort, weight, and controls
RTINGS reports a tested weight of 58.9 g. The ambidextrous shape accommodates either hand, and the review considers the mouse adequate for basic tasks. However, it has no side buttons, free-scrolling mode, or gesture controls. A button on top cycles through CPI settings, which adjusts pointer sensitivity.
RTINGS describes the build quality as adequate, while noting that some alternatives feel sturdier or include more features. The available review does not establish a specific ergonomic fit for every hand size or a long-term durability result.

RTINGS rates its FPS performance as mediocre and its MMO performance as bad. The review cites poor click latency, tracking accuracy that varies with movement speed, and a maximum polling rate of 125 Hz. The absence of side buttons also limits the extra inputs MMO players often rely on. RTINGS says it is not suitable for fast-paced or competitive games; casual games that do not demand precise timing may still be playable.
