Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsNeither service is better across the board. Aura is the closer fit if your priorities are identity and credit monitoring, bundled device security, and family or child-protection features. Cloaked is the closer fit if your central goal is to give out alternate email addresses and phone numbers so your real contact details stay out of circulation.
This comparison is based on what each company lists on its own pages, reviewed October 7, 2026. It is not independent testing of either app, and neither vendor’s listed figures prove that a data removal succeeded or that a loss would be paid.

What each service is built to do
Cloaked describes itself as a privacy-first identity-management service. Its Help Center states, “Cloaked is a privacy-first identity management system.” The core product lets you create substitute phone numbers, email addresses, and payment methods. Aliases can receive messages and calls without exposing your actual contact information. Call Guard screens and blocks spam or scam calls. Cloaked Pay has limited access, and the feature page labels it invite-only.

Its official pricing page lists three-bureau credit monitoring, identity-theft insurance, antivirus, a VPN, a password manager, data removal, unused digital-account cleanup, and scam-call and message protection.
#1 Best Overall
- Protect Your Privacy Effectively: you can use this identity protection roller stamp to flip personal information in under 2 seconds and save time and effort, effectively hiding and protecting your personal information, such as phone numbers, social security numbers, bank statements, shipping addresses, tax documents, data, billing addresses and many more
- Ideal Replacement for Shredder: if you are still using a shredder to shred cards or papers that are printed with your personal information, this security stamper roller will be an alternative tool to block out your privacy effectively and easily
- Refillable and Long Term Use: this confidential stamp can cover a total length of up to 100 meter/ 109 yards, approximately 3,200 prints are covered, pattern width is about 0.78 inches; When ink runs out, you can refill the security stamp with ink
- Easy to Use: just continuous roll the address blocker roller stamp to conceal information, and roll on a second layer for maximum protection, works on paper, envelopes, folders, address labels, etc., please note that may not work on smooth surfaces
- How to Refill the Ink: there are 4 pieces of ID stamp refills, each is about 1.5 ml, you just need to unscrew the cap of the ink bottle (not disposable, you can close the cap for next time of use), then insert it into the hole on the side of the stamp, then turn it upside down, about 5 minutes later, the most of the ink will be replenished to the security roller stamp
The practical difference is the job each one does first. Cloaked reduces how much of your real contact information reaches companies and people. Aura monitors and responds after your information is already out there.
Side-by-side feature comparison
The table uses only the features each vendor lists on its own pages as of October 7, 2026. Where a page does not mention a feature, the cell says so rather than assuming it is absent.

Identity and credit monitoring
If credit-file monitoring is your main requirement, Aura is the service whose official pages describe it. Its three-bureau monitoring covers all three major credit bureaus, and its child members receive online-account and Social Security number monitoring, while adults receive the benefits listed on the pricing page. Cloaked lists dark-web and Social Security number monitoring on its feature page but does not describe three-bureau credit monitoring on the pages reviewed.
Rank #2
- WHAT DOES IT COVER: Roll once over names, addresses, account numbers, barcodes, and prescription details on mail, statements, shipping labels, and boxes before recycling. The patented 0.5" masking pattern hides 3 lines of text in one pass.
- HOW MANY USES DO YOU GET: Each pre-inked Guard Your ID Advanced Roller delivers about 1,000 impressions (roughly 100 feet of coverage), so the 3-pack gives you around 3,000. A twist-on cap keeps the ink fresh for a 2-year shelf life.
- DOES IT WORK ON GLOSSY LABELS: Yes, on most glossy and coated surfaces, plus paper, envelopes, junk mail, and prescription labels. Give the ink 10 to 15 seconds to dry on slick surfaces; it is instant on paper. Results vary by coating.
- IS IT REFILLABLE: No, and that is the point. The Advanced Roller is pre-inked and sealed, so there are no refill cartridges to buy, no ink bottles to handle, and nothing to dry out on the shelf. When one runs out, reach for the next roller.
- SHREDDER OR ROLLER: No jams, no paper dust, no noise, and the page stays intact and recyclable. Covers boxes and shipping labels a shredder cannot. Faster than a redacting marker, fits in a drawer. Turquoise, Green, White: mail, office, parent.
Aura’s pricing page includes a caveat worth reading before you rely on any monitoring product: “No one can prevent all identity theft or monitor all transactions effectively.” Monitoring tells you about activity; it does not stop every fraud attempt.
Aliases versus data removal: two different protections
Cloaked’s core value is prevention. A phone alias or email alias gives a merchant, app, or contact a number or address that is not your own, so the real one is not handed over in the first place. Aliases only help with new sign-ups and new contacts. They do nothing about information that companies already hold.
Data removal addresses that existing information. Both services offer it, but they describe it differently:
Rank #3
- GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO A SHREDDER: Paper can be recycled after using the roller stamp, no need for a shredder
- SIZE AND WIDE COVERAGE: Length 2.36 INCH * width 1.26 INCH * height 2.36 INCH; Miseyo 1.5 inches wide Coverage roller stamp is perfect for covering large swaths of private information in a quick and clean way
- PROTECT PRIVACY IDENTITY THEFT: Easily use Miseyo's Roller Stamp to hide your business confidentiality contracts, court documents, barcodes on shipping labels, tax documents, bank statements, social security numbers, credit card statements and offers including your name and address private information, preventing identity theft, reject the harassment of privacy disclosure.NOT recommended to use on glossy surface
- UNLIMITED RE-INK: Miseyo roller stamp comes with an ink hole on the side, do not have to worry about the ink running out when you have to throw away the roller stamps, it can be refilled with ink for repeated use, no need to replace the roller, and permanently hide private identity information
- GOOD TIME SAVER: Are you still shredding private paper the old way? Trouble with pen scribbling 100 times? Burning danger and worry? Use miseyo stamp simple scroll to solve your worries and quickly hide your private and important information
- Cloaked describes ongoing data-removal requests in its Help Center. Its feature page claims coverage of 1,000+ sites, while its comparison page says 140+ brokers. The two numbers are not reconciled in the available material, so treat either one as a vendor’s description of scope.
- Aura lists removal from 425+ data brokers and Google search results on its pricing page, along with cleanup of unused digital accounts.
These counts are not directly comparable outcomes. A site count tells you how many places a service will send requests to; it does not tell you how many records were actually removed, how long removal took, or whether the information stays gone. Before paying for removal, ask each vendor:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Which specific brokers and search sites are covered, and whether that list is published.
- Whether you receive a record of completed removals, and how that record is produced.
- How often the service rescans and resubmits requests when information reappears.
Family and child features
Aura is the clearer option for households. Its comparison page describes family protection for up to five adults and an unlimited number of children, and its pricing page lists parental controls and child wellbeing features. Child members receive online-account and Social Security number monitoring.
Cloaked’s feature page labels Family Sharing as coming soon. As of October 7, 2026, you should not assume it is available. Check the current feature page before buying for a household.

Insurance: three headline figures, one question
The two services publish different insurance numbers, and they should not be compared as if they measured the same thing.
| Source | Figure stated | What the page says |
|---|---|---|
| Aura pricing page | $1 million | Every adult member is backed by a $1 million policy |
| Aura comparison page | Up to $5 million | Identity-theft insurance described as up to $5 million |
| Cloaked feature page | $1 million | Identity-theft insurance listed |
| Cloaked comparison page | $1 million | Insurance listed; per-person or aggregate basis not stated |
The reviewed pages do not explain how Aura’s “up to $5 million” relates to its $1 million per-adult policy, and they do not state whether either company’s limit is per person or a maximum across all claims. A maximum figure does not tell you what is covered, which losses qualify, or whether a particular claim will be paid. Before comparing these numbers, read the policy document for the plan you intend to buy and check its eligible losses, exclusions, and claim conditions.
Price, plan terms, and availability
Aura’s comparison page presents a June 2026 snapshot linked to a special discount. These are not verified current standard prices or renewal prices, and they should not be quoted as today’s rates.

Cloaked’s reviewed pages do not provide a reconciled standard-price schedule, so there is no like-for-like price comparison to make from them. Check each vendor’s live checkout for the plan you want, including what the renewal price will be after the first term.
Availability also limits who can sign up. Aura’s comparison page says the service is available only in the United States. Cloaked’s feature page says it is currently available in the United States and Canada. If you live outside both countries, neither service is available to you on the basis of these pages.
Which one fits your situation
- Choose Aura if you want one subscription covering credit monitoring, insurance, antivirus, a VPN, and a family plan, and you live in the United States.
- Choose Cloaked if your main concern is keeping your real phone number and email address off the internet, and you need masked payment options or call screening. This fits you if you live in the United States or Canada and can accept that Family Sharing is not yet available.
- Weigh both carefully if you want phone aliases and credit monitoring. Cloaked does not describe credit monitoring on its reviewed pages, and Aura does not offer phone aliases, so no single service on these pages covers both.
The vendor claims in this comparison are the basis for these recommendations. They are not a ranking of which app protects better in practice.
Source and date note: all feature, pricing, insurance, and availability details come from the official Aura and Cloaked pages reviewed on October 7, 2026. Plan features, promotions, and availability change often, so confirm them at checkout before you buy.
