Christian Gonzalez will not play when the New England Patriots visit the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, October 4, 2026. The Patriots listed the cornerback as out with a shoulder injury after he missed every practice that week.
Is Christian Gonzalez playing against the Bills?
No. New England listed Gonzalez as out on its Friday, October 2 injury report. The Patriots define “Out” as meaning the player will not play. The NFL’s Week 4 injury report also lists him as out.
What is Christian Gonzalez’s injury?
The reports identify a shoulder injury but do not provide a specific diagnosis, describe its severity or treatment, or give an expected return date. The designation alone does not establish whether he has a tear, dislocation, or another particular condition.
