Chipolo’s limited-edition LOOP is a color refresh, not a new tracking platform: the two palettes retain the LOOP’s rechargeable USB-C design and support for Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. Launched June 16, 2026, the edition was reported at $39.99; check the Chipolo product page for current price, package details, and availability.
What Chipolo launched
Chipolo introduced two limited-edition color combinations for its LOOP keyring-style tracker. The word “juicy” is headline framing, not the official product name. Chipolo calls the product LOOP Limited Edition; the launch report described the colors as summer-inspired and said the combinations were selected with community input. No vote count or selection methodology has been published in the cited coverage.
- Deep Sunset: Honey and Navy.
- Morning Mist: Mint and Navy.
The reported launch date was June 16, 2026. The launch report listed a $39.99 price and sales through Chipolo’s website and Amazon at launch. That is a dated reported price, not a guarantee of today’s price or stock. The official listing currently identifies a six-pack, so check its package quantity and regional availability before ordering; no production limit or unit count is stated.
What the LOOP does—and what is different here
The LOOP has an integrated attachment loop for keys, bags, or luggage, so it does not need a separate keyring accessory. The limited-edition listing gives the same core feature set as the LOOP: rechargeable USB-C power, a loud sound, and Apple or Google finding-network compatibility. No new processor, tracking accuracy, range, battery life, or network capability is identified for these colors. The apparent distinction is the finish and limited-edition positioning, not a documented hardware upgrade.

#1 Best Overall
- Rechargeable: LOOP is a rechargeable tracker that works with any USB-C charger, so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of replacing batteries. The battery lasts up to 1 year on a single charge. Charger is not included.
- Works with iOS or Android - Chipolo LOOP is universally compatible and works with the Apple Find My or Google’s Find Hub network. Both networks are made up of millions of Apple or Android devices, which means you can find your missing item almost anywhere in the world.
- Find nearby & far away – Ring your LOOP to locate your items with the help of a very loud sound when they’re hidden nearby. If your item is far away, locate it on the map with the help of a global network, Apple Find My or Find Hub on Android.
- Loud: With a very loud sound that reaches 125 dB, LOOP is easily heard from rooms away, which makes finding your essentials much easier and faster.
- Extra features (via free Chipolo companion app) – Call Your Phone (even if it’s on silent), Out of Range Alerts for Android devices (receive a notification when you leave your items behind), Take a Selfie (use LOOP as a remote camera shutter), Change Ringtone, and more.
- Sound: Chipolo rates the ring at approximately 125 dB.
- Bluetooth: Rated up to 120 meters (400 feet) in ideal line-of-sight conditions. Walls, bags, large objects, and radio interference can shorten that direct connection considerably.
- Battery: Rechargeable over USB-C, with up to about one year per charge according to Chipolo. Actual life depends on use. The product page says a USB-C charger is not included.
- Durability: IP67-rated water and dust resistance. The rating describes a defined test condition, including immersion in up to 1 meter of fresh water for up to 30 minutes; it is not a promise of protection from salt water, high-pressure water, diving, or indefinite submersion.
- Size: 40 × 57 × 8 mm (about 1.5 × 2.2 × 0.3 inches).
- Bluetooth specification: Bluetooth LE 6.0.
These are manufacturer specifications on the official LOOP Limited Edition page, not independent performance measurements.
How iPhone and Android tracking works
LOOP joins one finding network at a time. Set it up with Apple Find My on an iPhone, or Google Find Hub on a compatible Android phone; it cannot be active on both networks simultaneously. Chipolo lists iOS 14.5 or later for Apple Find My and Android 9 or later with Google Play Services for Find Hub. Google’s service also depends on Bluetooth, location services, an internet or cellular connection, and country and account eligibility.

The distinction between direct Bluetooth range and network finding matters. If the tracker is nearby, your phone can connect to it and make it ring. If it is farther away, its approximate location may be updated when a participating device in the relevant Apple or Google network detects it and reports it. The LOOP has no built-in GPS or cellular connection, so it does not provide continuous live tracking or a real-time route.
Use the finding network for locating the item
Choose Apple Find My or Google Find Hub during setup, according to the phone ecosystem you use. If you need to move the tracker to the other network, expect to remove and reset it rather than switch networks with a simple toggle. Check the Chipolo operating-system requirements for supported software details.

Use the Chipolo app for extra controls
The separate Chipolo app adds controls such as calling a misplaced phone by pressing the tracker, changing its ringtone, using it as a remote camera shutter, and ringing or flashing the LOOP’s light. Some settings, including ringtone-volume adjustment on supported iPhone setups and out-of-range alerts on Android, depend on the phone and setup. The Chipolo app complements the selected Apple or Google network; it is not a separate global finding network for this model.

The colors are the reason to choose this edition over a standard LOOP with the same documented core features. Deep Sunset or Morning Mist may suit buyers who want a more distinctive keyring, prefer an integrated attachment point, or are choosing a gift. The rechargeable battery and network choice may also fit buyers who want one tracker model that can be configured for either an Apple or Android household, provided they understand that one network is active at a time.

A standard LOOP may be the better buy if its color is acceptable and it costs less. Consider another form factor if you need a slim wallet tracker or a smaller round tag. The LOOP also may not suit you if you need simultaneous access for iPhone and Android users, GPS-based live tracking, or a replaceable coin-cell battery.

How it compares with common alternatives
| Option | May suit | Main distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Chipolo standard LOOP | Buyers who want the LOOP shape and features without paying extra for the limited colors. | Standard colors; compare the live price with the limited edition. |
| Apple AirTag | iPhone users prioritizing Apple’s Find My ecosystem. | Its built-in design typically needs an accessory for keyring attachment; it is less suited to Android-first households. |
| Pebblebee Clip | Buyers comparing rechargeable, cross-platform trackers. | Compare the current network support, sound, dimensions, charging, warranty, and regional availability rather than assuming all cross-platform models work identically. |
| Chipolo POP | Buyers preferring a conventional tag shape and replaceable battery. | Uses a CR2032 battery and differs in physical design and specifications. |
| Chipolo CARD | Wallets, passport holders, and slim pockets. | Flat card form factor; confirm the particular version’s network compatibility. |
Practical limits to keep in mind
- Not a GPS tracker: For a vehicle, child, or pet that needs continuous location updates, a Bluetooth item finder is the wrong category of device.
- Network coverage affects distant recovery: A location update away from your phone depends on nearby participating devices and the selected network; it is not guaranteed at every place or moment.
- Charging is maintenance: USB-C avoids regular coin-cell replacement, but the tracker needs periodic charging and cannot report its location when its battery is depleted.
- Unwanted-tracker alerts are intentional: Apple and Google provide systems that can warn people when an unknown compatible tracker appears to be traveling with them. A warning can occur when a tracker on shared property travels with someone else; it is a safety measure, not necessarily a fault.
