The home-screen widget is another option only if the app is installed—it lets you view a balance without opening the app.

Chime’s official balance guidance says members can check their Checking Account balance by logging in at Chime.com. This is the direct self-service option if you do not want to use the app.

Call (844) 244-6363. Chime lists Member Services as available 24/7. Its balance guidance gives this number as the support contact, and Chime also says members who cannot access the app or Chime.com can call for help obtaining account statements. The guidance does not guarantee that support will disclose a live balance on every call or specify the verification steps, so be ready to verify your identity and explain what account information you need.

If you mean “without opening the app,” Chime’s home-screen widget can display Checking or Savings balances on your device’s home screen. However, setting it up requires the Chime app to be installed. It does not help if you have no app installed or cannot access it.

Chime’s Available Balance represents funds available to use and reflects pending transactions. A pending transaction has not yet fully processed, so the available balance may differ from the ending balance shown on a statement for a past reporting period. Chime accounts can also show separate balances.
