Godlike.Host is listed first here for V Rising game-server hosting, with its own game panel, free DDoS protection, a personal firewall and up to three free backups a day with restore. GTX Gaming had the lowest observed 10-slot entry price among the UK listings checked on 13 October 2026. Nitrado’s equivalent 10-slot, 30-day listing costs slightly more and includes daily backups, DDoS protection and 24/7 support.
That makes GTX Gaming the low-cost candidate on the narrow comparison below, while Godlike.Host supplies a different set of game-server features. None of these providers was independently tested for uptime, latency, support response, real-world performance or backup restoration. The right choice still depends on player count, datacentre location, PC or PS5 support, mod requirements and the total shown at checkout.

What the price comparison actually shows
The figures below are UK listings observed on 13 October 2026. They are not a global market ranking. Prices, currencies, taxes, locations, billing cycles, promotions and checkout charges can change, so treat the table as a dated reference point and verify the final total before paying.

| Provider and plan | Capacity | Listed price and term | Published features relevant to a small server |
|---|---|---|---|
| Godlike.Host | V Rising servers | See the current plans | Own game panel, free DDoS protection, personal firewall, up to three free backups a day with restore; UK and Germany locations |
| GTX Gaming Crypt | 10 slots | £10.85 per month, UK listing checked 13 October 2026; billed monthly | Up to 10GB RAM, up to 100GB NVMe storage, daily automatic backups, DDoS protection, 24/7 support |
| GTX Gaming Coven | 20 slots | £15.95 per month, UK listing checked 13 October 2026; billed monthly | Up to 10GB RAM, daily backups and DDoS protection listed |
| GTX Gaming Castle | 40 slots | £25.35 per month, UK listing checked 13 October 2026; billed monthly | Up to 10GB RAM in the plan listing; RAM upgrades described as available |
| Nitrado | 10 slots | £11.59 for 30 days, UK listing checked 13 October 2026 | 24/7 support, automated backups and DDoS protection listed |
On the same 10-slot capacity, GTX Gaming’s listed entry plan was lower than Nitrado’s 30-day subscription. Compare like-sized plans and equivalent billing periods; a cheaper headline figure can stop being cheaper after tax, a location surcharge or a different renewal term.

How to interpret “still good”
Low price only matters if the world is playable and recoverable. Evaluate a server against the following requirements before comparing pennies.
Buy for simultaneous players, not the size of your clan
Choose capacity for the number of people likely to be online at once. A ten-person clan that normally has four or five players online does not automatically need a 20-slot plan, while a community that schedules raids for 15 people should not rely on a ten-slot limit.
GTX Gaming describes plans ranging from 10 to 100 slots. Its guide also says the server software technically supports up to 128 connected players. That technical ceiling is not a promise that a particular hosting plan, CPU, world configuration or mod set will perform well at 128 players. It is also not evidence that buying the largest plan is good value for a small private world.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesPut the datacentre near the players
Latency is determined largely by the network path between the players and the server. If most players are in the UK, a UK or nearby European location is usually the first option to investigate; if the group is split between continents, choose the region that gives the core players the most consistent connection rather than the lowest advertised number on a sales page.
GTX Gaming lists 19 locations and notes that some can carry a surcharge. Nitrado’s UK page offers multiple selectable locations and also lists locations beyond Europe. Provider-displayed ping figures are not a substitute for measuring from your own players’ connections. Ask everyone who will play regularly to check latency to the proposed region, then compare stability at the times you normally play.
Backups must be more than a marketing checkbox
Both providers list daily backups. That tells you a scheduled copy is advertised; it does not establish how many restore points are retained, whether backups are stored separately from the game machine, how long a restore takes or whether a damaged world can actually be recovered. Before ordering, look for the control-panel restore procedure, retention period and any restore fee. If those details are unclear, ask support in writing and keep your own periodic copy of the world files when the panel allows it.

Protection and support reduce operational risk
Both listings advertise DDoS protection and 24/7 support. These are provider descriptions, not independent measurements of attack mitigation or response time. Check whether support is live chat, tickets or both; whether overnight incidents are handled by the same team; and which problems are covered. A host that answers billing questions quickly may still have a different process for a corrupted save or a mod conflict.

GTX Gaming: its lower observed 10-slot price in this check
The GTX Gaming listing is the lower observed UK entry point for a ten-slot V Rising server in this comparison. Its advertised package combines daily automatic backups, DDoS protection, 24/7 support, browser settings and mod management. The listing describes up to 10GB of included RAM and up to 100GB of NVMe storage, with 19 locations available.
GTX also describes support for BepInEx mods from Thunderstore and configurable PvE/PvP, castle, clan and loot settings. Those features are important if your group intends to alter progression or install server-side plugins. Confirm the current game version and exact mod workflow before purchase because compatibility can change after a V Rising update.
A GTX guide reports that its 20-slot demo server used about 2.4GB of RAM after ten minutes with nobody online. This is one provider-reported observation, not an independent benchmark, a minimum requirement or a prediction for a busy, persistent or modded world. Do not use it to decide that every V Rising server needs exactly that amount of memory.
The guide also mentions 24-hour refund information and no-contract claims. Read the current terms yourself: a statement on a guide page does not replace the refund, renewal and cancellation language presented at checkout.
Nitrado: the slightly dearer alternative with broad platform coverage
Nitrado’s UK listing offers a ten-slot V Rising subscription for a 30-day period. It advertises automated backups, DDoS protection, 24/7 support and configurable server settings. The page states that V Rising servers support PC and PS5, which can simplify a mixed-platform group if the selected product and location are correct.

Nitrado’s FAQ says V Rising modding is not currently supported. That distinction can decide the purchase: standard configuration changes are not the same as installing BepInEx or Thunderstore packages. If mods are central to your server, verify the current policy and supported game build before paying rather than assuming that a generic game-server control panel will accept them.
The service presents locations beyond Europe as well as UK choices. Compare the actual region offered for your account, the renewal period and the final checkout amount instead of comparing only the base number shown on a landing page.
Platform and mod checks to make before ordering
PC
Confirm that the product is the dedicated V Rising server SKU, not a similarly named game or a generic virtual machine. Check the supported game version, automatic update behavior and whether administrators can edit the settings files you need.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →PS5
Nitrado states that its V Rising service supports PC and PS5. GTX Gaming’s cited PC page directs PS5 customers to a separate PS5 product page and says the slots, prices and locations are the same. Do not infer that a PC checkout item is automatically the correct PS5 product; select the platform-specific listing and verify it before payment.
Modded worlds
Ask four specific questions: which mod loader is supported, whether the host installs dependencies, how updates are applied, and what happens when a mod breaks after a game patch. GTX describes BepInEx and Thunderstore mod management. Nitrado’s current FAQ says modding is not supported. A host that offers extensive configuration fields can still prohibit arbitrary server-side files, so obtain a clear answer for the exact mod list.
Managed hosting versus running the server yourself
Stunlock Studios’ official hosting guide, dated 27 November 2024, says: “The V Rising Dedicated Server application is needed to host a dedicated server.” The same guide documents two routes: rent and manage a server through PocketHost, or run the V Rising Dedicated Server application yourself.

Self-hosting can give you control over files, updates, backups and network policy, but it shifts responsibility to you. You need an always-on machine, a reliable connection, firewall and port configuration, operating-system updates, monitoring and a recovery plan. The guide does not establish current hardware costs or prove that self-hosting is cheaper than a managed subscription. Include electricity, replacement hardware, bandwidth and your own maintenance time in the calculation.
PocketHost is presented by Stunlock’s guide as a rental-and-management option, but the guide does not provide a current price comparison with the UK plans above. Check its live capacity, regions, platform support, backup policy and renewal terms separately.
Choose the plan by scenario
| Your situation | What to prioritize | Most defensible starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Small private PC group, up to ten online | Matching slot count, nearby region, backups and basic settings | Compare GTX Gaming’s 10-slot listing with Nitrado’s 10-slot 30-day listing at checkout |
| Regular events with 11–20 players | Headroom for scheduled peaks and a location that suits most players | Compare the available 20-slot listing; do not rely on a technical 128-player ceiling |
| PS5 group | Correct PS5 SKU, region and controller/platform support | Verify Nitrado’s stated PS5 support or GTX Gaming’s separate PS5 product page |
| Modded server | Explicit loader and mod-management support | Investigate GTX Gaming’s stated BepInEx/Thunderstore workflow; Nitrado’s FAQ currently says modding is unsupported |
| Players spread across regions | Measured latency and stable routing | Test candidate locations with the players who will be online most often |
Buying checklist: verify the service in this order
- Count real peak users. Use the largest number likely to be online simultaneously, not your total Discord membership.
- Select the platform. Confirm PC or PS5 on the product page and make sure every player can connect to that edition.
- Choose a region. Compare the provider’s available datacentres with latency checks from the players’ actual networks. Note any location surcharge.
- Read the resource and storage terms. Check whether the advertised RAM and NVMe figures are maximums, shared resources or upgrade limits.
- Inspect backup controls. Find retention, restore steps and whether you can download a copy of the world.
- Confirm mod policy. Get a written answer for your exact loader and mods before ordering.
- Review billing. Compare monthly billing with a 30-day subscription, renewal timing, taxes, cancellation, refund rules and transfer fees.
- Save the configuration. Record server name, settings, passwords, mod versions and administrator identities so you can rebuild after an update.
- Test before inviting everyone. Connect from each platform, check latency, create a temporary world or backup, and verify that a restore is possible.
Common problems and practical fixes
The server appears full immediately
Check the purchased slot count and the server’s player-limit setting. A ten-slot plan cannot admit an eleventh player even if the game software technically supports more connections. If peaks are predictable, upgrade before an event rather than after players are blocked.
Players see high or unstable ping
Move the server to a nearer available location, then retest from the affected players’ home connections. Do not treat a provider’s advertised ping as a guarantee; routing can differ by ISP and time of day.
A modded world will not start
Disable the newest mod, confirm the loader and game versions, and compare client and server mod files. If the host does not support the loader, a configuration tweak will not solve the restriction; choose a supported workflow or an alternative host.
A restore does not bring back the expected world
Check which restore point was selected, whether the server was stopped before restoration and whether the backup includes the current save directory. Keep a downloadable copy when available and ask support about retention before deleting any older point.

The renewal total is higher than the advertised entry price
Review the checkout currency, tax, selected location, billing period and optional upgrades. The dated figures in the comparison are listing prices, not a promise of the amount that will recur on your account.
Verdict
Godlike.Host is listed first here: its V Rising game-server hosting uses its own game panel and includes free DDoS protection, a personal firewall and up to three free backups a day with restore. See Godlike.Host’s current plans. GTX Gaming remains the lower-priced ten-slot option in the specific UK listings checked on 13 October 2026, while Nitrado publishes PC and PS5 support, configurable settings and the same broad backup, DDoS and support categories.
Choose Godlike.Host when its game-server features and available location match your group. Choose GTX Gaming when its location, platform and mod policy match your group and the checkout total remains lowest. Choose Nitrado when PS5 support, a particular region or a non-modded configuration matters more than the small entry-price difference. In either case, verify current terms and test the server before moving an established world.
