Change a Blog Post Author in Manual Mode: Hostinger AI Builder

Edit Post authors in a post’s General settings to change the saved name, or use the Style eye icon to hide author details by post or blog section.

To change a blog post’s saved author in Hostinger AI Builder manual mode, open the post’s settings, edit Post authors in the General tab, save, and update the website. If you only want the name hidden, use the author visibility control instead; that does not change the saved author.

Change the saved author name

  1. In the website editor, expand the blog management panel on the left.
  2. Find the post and click the ellipsis button next to its title.
  3. Open Post settings.
  4. In the General tab, enter the desired name or names under Post authors.
  5. Save the settings, then update the website to publish the change.

The account username is set as the author by default. The post settings let you replace that with the name or names you want displayed. See Hostinger’s manual-mode instructions for changing a blog post author.

Hide the author without changing the saved name

Author visibility is separate from the author field. Choose the scope that matches what you want visitors to see.

Hide the author on one post

  1. Open the post from the blog management panel.
  2. Open its header settings.
  3. In Style, click the eye icon for the author.
  4. Update the website.

Hide authors in a blog section

  1. Select the blog section on the website.
  2. Open Edit blog list.
  3. In Style, click the eye icon for the author.
  4. Update the website.

These controls change whether authors appear in the post header or blog section; they do not replace the name stored under Post authors. Hostinger documents the related controls in its guide to managing blog settings in manual mode.
