What the Casper Original is—and a spec to check
Casper’s U.S. product page lists the Original Foam queen at $1,295 and describes an 11-inch all-foam mattress with Signature Foam, premium memory foam and three ergonomic support zones. Tom’s Guide described its deal mattress as 10 inches tall, so the published specifications conflict. Before ordering, check the exact model name and dimensions on the Amazon listing rather than assuming it is the same version as Casper’s current product page.

Feel and sleep experience
Tom’s Guide characterizes the Original as medium-firm, while noting that customer reviews suggest it may feel softer. Its testers said the foam layers cushion shoulders and hips while supporting the spine. Those are editorial observations, not a guarantee of how the mattress will feel to an individual sleeper.
The publication’s testers found it particularly suitable for side sleepers and praised its motion isolation, which may appeal to people sharing a bed. They also found it slept a little warm. A breathable sheet set might be a comfort preference, but it should not be treated as a fix for the mattress’s heat retention.

Check the trial, warranty and seller before checkout
Casper’s official U.S. policy describes a 100-night mattress trial with a 30-night adjustment period; a return cannot be initiated during those first 30 nights. Its U.S. limited mattress warranty runs for 10 years for qualifying mattresses bought from Casper or authorized retailers in the United States or Canada, subject to conditions and exclusions. Tom’s Guide reports the same trial and warranty durations for the deal, but that does not establish that every third-party Amazon listing qualifies.

The reported queen price may be worth checking if you want an all-foam mattress and place a premium on motion isolation, particularly as a couple or side sleeper.
