Does attribution let you use Free-plan voices commercially?
No. ElevenLabs requires attribution when Free-plan output is shared non-commercially: its Help Center says to include “elevenlabs.io” or “11.ai” in the title. For Eleven Music output, it specifies referring to “Eleven Music.” These attribution instructions do not grant commercial permission or allow monetization.

Who owns the output, and what rights do you need for inputs?
ElevenLabs’ terms describe users as retaining rights in their input and output as between the user and the company. That does not guarantee the output is copyrightable in every jurisdiction, nor does it clear third-party material for your use. You remain responsible for having appropriate rights to text, recordings, voices, likenesses, and other inputs, and for complying with the applicable terms and policies.
The terms also grant ElevenLabs a license to use submitted content to operate and improve its services and develop products. They state that ElevenLabs will not commercialize a user’s voice on a standalone basis without permission. These contractual provisions do not replace checking the terms that apply to your region.

Can you clone someone else’s voice?
ElevenLabs’ voice-cloning Help Center says you must have permission to clone a voice. A paid plan does not itself authorize cloning another person’s voice; make sure you have permission and the necessary rights before creating or using a clone.
How to choose a plan for commercial work
Check the current plan details before generating audio for a project, since prices, credits, and features can change. The official pricing page lists Free and paid options including Starter, Creator, Pro, Scale, Business, and Enterprise, along with tier-specific credits and promotional offers. Do not assume a promotion is a standard recurring price.
