Fliff’s Social Gaming and Pick ’Em terms prohibit VPNs, proxies, or similar services when they mask or manipulate your real location, and say this can result in account action. A VPN cannot make an otherwise ineligible location eligible. If you’re physically somewhere Fliff supports but the app cannot verify your location, check your device’s location permissions and contact Fliff support instead.
Why a VPN is not a suitable Fliff solution
Fliff’s Social Gaming Terms of Use identify access through a VPN, proxy, or similar service that masks or manipulates a user’s real location as grounds for action on the account. The relevant language appears in section 12.2.12 of Fliff’s Social Gaming Terms of Use. Fliff’s separate Pick ’Em Terms of Use contain the same core restriction and describe identity and location verification.

That rule is about concealing or changing your location, not a general claim that every VPN is unsafe for ordinary internet use. But for Fliff, selecting a VPN provider as a way to access the service conflicts with the published terms. No VPN brand should be treated as a compliant workaround or as a way to pass location checks.
Check availability for the specific Fliff product
Fliff availability varies by product and state. Its official availability page distinguishes products and can change, so check it for the product you intend to use rather than assuming that availability for one Fliff offering applies to another.

A Fliff Help Center article updated March 23, 2026 says Pick ’Em required users to be at least 18 to open an account, participate, or win prizes in available states. At that time, it listed California, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, and West Virginia. This is dated guidance, not a guarantee of current availability; consult the live page and Fliff’s Pick ’Em eligibility article before relying on that list.

- Contact Fliff support if the check still fails. Explain that you are physically in an eligible place and have reviewed your permissions. Do not switch to a VPN or proxy to try to force a different result.
What this means for connection security
There is no Fliff-specific VPN recommendation here: Fliff’s location-masking restriction rules out recommending VPNs for access, and no evidence establishes a VPN as a way to secure a Fliff connection while complying with that rule. If your concern is a location error, use the permission and support steps above. If your concern is privacy on other internet activity, evaluate VPNs for that separate purpose without using one to conceal your location from Fliff.
