Yes. In Windows 11, open Settings > System > Multitasking and switch off Title bar window shake. That built-in toggle disables the behavior commonly called Aero Shake.
How to disable Aero Shake in Windows 11
- Open Start > Settings.
- Select System > Multitasking.
- Switch off Title bar window shake.
Microsoft’s Windows 11 instructions list this setting under System > Multitasking. With it off, shaking a window by its title bar will no longer trigger the documented behavior of minimizing the other open windows.

Where is the title bar window shake setting?
It is in Settings, under System > Multitasking. Microsoft calls the option Title bar window shake; Aero Shake is the common name people use for the gesture. When enabled, Microsoft says it can “quickly minimize all open windows except the one you’re working on.”

What if the toggle is missing?
Check that you are following the Windows 11 path above and are in System > Multitasking. Microsoft’s support page covers Windows 11 and identifies the toggle by that name. Its page is undated, so the location or label could change in a future Windows update.
