Netflix distinguishes games downloaded to phones and tablets from games played on TVs or in computer browsers. A game appearing in the mobile catalog is not necessarily playable on a TV or computer. See Netflix’s games help article for its current overview.

Play Netflix games on a TV
- Install and open the Netflix app on a supported TV or streaming device.
- Choose a profile and look for Games, usually near the top of the screen.
- Select a TV game. Scan the QR code displayed on the TV with each player’s phone or tablet to connect it as a controller.
Netflix says physical gamepads and other controllers are not supported for this TV experience. Its device requirements page also refers to the TV’s original remote, but Netflix’s setup instructions specify a phone or tablet for controlling the game; do not treat the remote as a replacement for the mobile controller. Phone and tablet requirements for TV play
- On iPhone or iPad, Netflix specifies iOS or iPadOS 17 or later and the Netflix Game Controller app.
- On Android, you may be asked to install the Netflix app.
- Each player needs a phone or tablet to control their game.
Netflix recommends a stable internet connection with download speeds of 10 Mbps or higher. This is a recommendation, not a stated minimum or a guarantee of performance; the live help page does not state when the recommendation was published.

Play Netflix games on a PC or Mac
- Open Netflix.com in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- Choose a profile and look for Games.
- Open a title that has a Play Game button and follow the prompts.
Depending on the title, you may play with a keyboard and mouse or trackpad, or use a phone or tablet as a controller. If you only see mobile games, check that you are in a supported country and using Chrome or Edge; updating the browser may also help. A title without a Play Game button may be mobile-only. Netflix’s games overview, setup article, and device requirements describe the browser experience and its requirements.
Can you play Netflix games on a PlayStation or Xbox?
Netflix lists PlayStation and Xbox among devices that can play Netflix video, but that does not establish that Netflix games run on those consoles. The Netflix games guidance covered here documents TV and streaming-device play, computer-browser play, and mobile downloads—not console game support. In short, being able to stream Netflix shows on a console is not evidence that its Netflix app can launch games. Check Netflix’s supported-device information for video compatibility, and do not confuse it with game compatibility.

Where Netflix TV and computer games are available
Netflix describes the TV and computer experience as beta and says it is not available everywhere. On the live Help Center page accessed October 7, 2026, Netflix listed these 20 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The list may change; check the current Netflix Help Center page for availability.

What to check if you cannot find or start a game
No Games option on a TV
- Confirm that your country is on Netflix’s current supported-country list.
- Check that the TV or streaming device is compatible. Netflix says many recent TV models are supported, not all of them.
- On Netflix, open Manage Access and Devices and use the Show devices compatible with games toggle.
- If the device is listed as compatible but Games is missing, check for a software update from the TV manufacturer.
Games do not appear in a computer browser
- Use Netflix.com in Chrome or Edge.
- Check country availability and update the browser if needed.
- Look for a Play Game button; without one, the title may be limited to mobile.
The TV game will not accept input
Use the Netflix Game Controller app on a supported iPhone or iPad, or follow Netflix’s prompt on Android. Netflix says physical gamepads and other controllers are unsupported for TV games. Check that each player has connected a phone or tablet using the QR code shown on the TV.
