How the Ace Combat 8 bonus works
The newer port is distinct from the original PS2 release. Bandai Namco describes it as a port of the original 2006 game, included with qualifying Ace Combat 8 pre-orders; the product listing says an internet connection is required to access the bonus. No. Bandai Namco’s FAQ says the version included as a pre-order bonus “is not a remastered or updated version of the game.” It is described as a port for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, not a remaster. Read the publisher’s FAQ and platform details.
