You can’t install RPCS3 on a standard PlayStation 4 using a documented, officially supported setup. What RPCS3 is—and where it is documented to run
RPCS3 is a PlayStation 3 emulator and debugger. The project lists Windows, Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD as host operating systems and directs users to its Quickstart for setup and current requirements. Those are desktop platforms, not PlayStation 4.

The RPCS3 FAQ likewise does not document PS4 as a supported host or explain how to install the emulator on one. That means there is no official PS4 install path to follow.
Why a PS4 USB firmware guide won’t install RPCS3
Sony’s instructions for putting a system software file on a USB drive and using Safe Mode update or reinstall the PS4’s own operating system. They do not install third-party software such as RPCS3. Follow Sony’s PS4 system software instructions only if your goal is to update or reinstall the console software.

What about jailbreaks or other workarounds?
The official RPCS3 and Sony materials cited here do not verify a PS4 method involving a jailbreak, Linux boot, console modification, or another workaround.
