It also says one mobile phone number can verify only one LINE account. Do you need a second account or access to the same account on another device?
If you want distinct identities, the multi-account guidance applies: use a separate device and different registration information for each account. If you want to read and reply to the same conversations on a computer or tablet, a sub device is the relevant option. It is linked to your existing account and does not create another account.

Enable sub-device login
- On your main device, open Home > Settings > Account.
- Turn on Allow login.
- Sign in to the same LINE account on a supported sub device, following the prompts shown in the app.
A sub device cannot manage account information such as your phone number, email, or password; transfer the account; change Letter Sealing settings; back up chat history; or purchase items. Use the main device for those tasks.
What should I do before moving a LINE account to another phone?
An account transfer is different from creating a second account. Before moving an account, check the registered information and back up chat history; the applicable transfer steps depend on the old and new device situation. Follow LINE’s current transfer guide and the prompts in the app.

For an Android-to-Android transfer, LINE describes a QR-code transfer option and recommends it because it can avoid entering a password or PIN in later steps. LINE warns that chat history cannot be transferred or restored without a backup. Do not start a transfer until you have prepared the account and any chat history you want to keep.
