Yes. A cloud streaming service can play uploaded lecture recordings or a playlist and send the feed to YouTube, so your computer and home internet do not need to stay on once the broadcast is running. The service handles transmission from its own infrastructure; that describes the workflow, not a guarantee of uninterrupted streaming.
How a 24/7 YouTube stream works without a PC
YouTube supports encoder-based livestreams. For a no-PC setup, the encoder runs in the cloud rather than on a computer in your home: upload recordings, connect the service to your YouTube channel, configure the playlist or loop, and start the broadcast. A computer may still be useful for setup and preparing files, but it is not in the stream’s ongoing path.

YouTube’s instructions explain how to start a live stream, but do not promise that every continuous prerecorded format will be permitted or eligible for monetization. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and setup guidance.

Confirm live-stream eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. Check eligibility and setup in YouTube Studio before paying for a service or scheduling a long broadcast. Current requirements are listed in YouTube Help.

Make sure you have the necessary rights
You need the rights or permissions for the lecture recordings and all included material, such as slides, music, video clips, and readings. YouTube says livestream content must comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. A cloud provider supplies transmission; it does not grant rights to the content.
Do not assume continuous playback qualifies for monetization
YouTube’s monetization policy expects original, authentic content and says repetitive or mass-produced material may be ineligible. Its July 15, 2025 update clarified the “inauthentic content” wording. Whether a particular channel qualifies depends on YouTube’s review of that channel and its content; running lectures continuously does not itself establish monetization eligibility. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies.

Set up a cloud lecture stream
- Prepare the source material. Gather recordings you have permission to stream, then decide whether the broadcast should play one video repeatedly or rotate through a playlist. Check that the files are complete and play as intended.
- Choose a cloud service that fits the schedule. Verify its loop and playlist controls, maximum continuous duration, upload and storage limits, interruption recovery, archive behavior, account-connection method, and current availability. Do not assume every service’s “24/7” option has the same limits.
- Connect YouTube using the provider’s current instructions. Depending on the service, this may use Google authorization or a YouTube stream key. Treat a stream key as a credential: do not share it, and follow the provider’s security instructions.
- Configure and start the broadcast. Select the uploaded lecture or playlist, set its playback or loop behavior, and schedule or start the YouTube stream as the service directs. Confirm that the correct YouTube channel and destination are selected.
- Test before relying on it. Check the live output and playlist transition. Find out what happens after a connection interruption, whether the service restarts automatically, how long a broadcast can run, and how YouTube archives are handled. “24/7” does not by itself mean unlimited duration, a guaranteed uptime level, or an unending archive.
