Yes—if the keyboard supports pairing with multiple devices. Pair each device to its own channel, then press the channel button for the device you want to use. The keyboard sends typing to the selected device, not to every paired device at once.
What “use one keyboard with two devices” means
A multi-device keyboard stores connections to more than one computer, tablet, or other compatible device. Its channel or device-selection button determines which connection receives your keystrokes. Wireless capability alone does not mean a keyboard can pair with multiple devices; check the exact model’s specifications for a multi-device feature and the number of available slots.

How to pair and switch devices
- Choose a channel. Select an unused device button or channel on the keyboard.
- Start pairing. Put that channel into pairing mode using the model’s specified button or key combination.
- Connect the device. For Bluetooth, open the device’s Bluetooth settings and select the keyboard. If the keyboard supports a USB receiver, follow its instructions for connecting that receiver.
- Pair the next device. Choose a different channel and repeat the process.
- Switch when needed. Press the channel button assigned to the device you want to type on.
The controls differ by model, so use its manual for the exact pairing steps. For example, Logitech’s Easy-Switch guide describes assigning device buttons and switching with a button press. For the Keys-To-Go 2, Logitech says to hold the desired Easy-Switch button for three seconds to begin Bluetooth discovery, then select “Keys-To-Go 2” in the device’s Bluetooth settings; a short press selects a previously connected device: Keys-To-Go 2 setup instructions.
How many devices can one keyboard support?
It depends on the model. These Logitech examples show why it is worth checking the slot count rather than assuming all multi-device keyboards work alike:

What to check before buying
- Device slots: Confirm that the keyboard supports the number of devices you plan to pair.
- Connection types: Check whether it uses Bluetooth, a USB receiver, or both. Receiver support may be limited to particular channels on some models.
- Compatibility: Verify operating-system support for each device you intend to connect.
- Layout and size: Check the keyboard layout and physical form factor against your preferences and workspace.
- Device support: If you want a stand or cradle, confirm that the exact model includes one.
If the keyboard will not switch
- Confirm that the model supports multiple device slots.
- Make sure the intended device was paired to the channel you selected.
- Check that the keyboard is powered and that you pressed the correct channel button.
- For Bluetooth, check the target device’s Bluetooth settings. If reconnection fails, remove an old pairing and pair again.
- If you use a receiver, verify that it is connected and supported for that channel.
Logitech’s Easy-Switch troubleshooting guidance also recommends checking keyboard power, the Bluetooth or receiver connection, old pairings, and the selected channel.
