New Relic and Sentry each offer useful diagnostics, but their official documentation describes separate workflows—not a verified, single npx command that combines both services to diagnose any website running on localhost. New Relic needs browser monitoring instrumentation or its separate diagnostic utility; Sentry’s CLI works with Sentry project and issue data.
What a one-command localhost workflow would need to do
For a command to explain why a locally served website is slow, it would need to reach the page, collect relevant performance evidence, and present findings. Adding npx to a command does not by itself establish that capability. The official materials reviewed document the products below, but do not identify a package or reproducible invocation that combines New Relic and Sentry for arbitrary localhost sites.

That distinction matters because the services do not collect identical evidence: New Relic browser monitoring reports browser-performance data after instrumentation, while the Sentry CLI examples focus on working with issues in a Sentry project. Neither description verifies a combined local profiler.
How New Relic can show browser performance
Instrument the page or use an APM agent
New Relic says monitoring begins with an integration that collects data from a technology and reports it to the service. Browser monitoring can be added with a JavaScript snippet in the page head; if an APM agent monitors the backend, it can inject browser monitoring automatically. See New Relic’s website performance guide.

- 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡- Easily connect your Nintendo Switch to a wired network for faster downloads and a more stable online gaming experience compared to Wi-Fi.
- 𝐏𝐥𝐮𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲- No driver required for Nintendo Switch, Windows 11/10/8.1/8, and Linux. Simply connect and enjoy instant wired internet access without complicated setup.
- 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲- Supports Nintendo Switch, PCs, laptops, Ultrabooks, tablets, and other USB-powered web devices; works with network equipment including modems, routers, and switches.
This is an instrumented monitoring workflow, not evidence that New Relic automatically inspects any site served only on localhost through an npx command.
Inspect an individual session
When available, New Relic session traces can show page-load timing, asset loads, user interactions, AJAX requests, callbacks, and errors. Access depends on using an eligible browser agent, enabling session tracing, browser support, and sampling. New Relic describes a default collection rate of 90 traces per hour, a product setting that may change; it should not be read as a guarantee that a particular visit will be traced. Details are in New Relic’s session-trace documentation.

- Connects a USB 3.0 device (computer/laptop) to a router, modem, or network switch to deliver Gigabit Ethernet to your network connection. Does not support Smart TV or gaming consoles (e.g.Nintendo Switch).
- Supported features include Wake-on-LAN function, Green Ethernet & IEEE 802.3az-2010 (Energy Efficient Ethernet)
- Supports IPv4/IPv6 pack Checksum Offload Engine (COE) to reduce Cental Processing Unit (CPU) loading
- Compatible with Windows 8.1 or higher, Mac OS
New Relic also documents page views and related signals for examining performance and user impact in its page views guide.
What Sentry’s CLI does—and does not establish
Sentry’s official CLI page lists npx as an installation option and demonstrates authentication, listing issues, and asking for an issue explanation. Those examples use Sentry project and issue data; they do not document direct performance profiling of a page that exists only on localhost. See Sentry’s CLI documentation.

Compatible with Windows 11/10/8.1/8, Mac OS, iPad OS, Chrome OS.(Note: Driver is required on Win 7) It can be used in office, school, library and other occasions, compact and portable, easy to carry around.
That makes the CLI relevant when you already have Sentry issues to investigate, but it is not interchangeable with browser-performance instrumentation. The documented examples do not verify that it can discover a slow local page or correlate that page’s performance with New Relic in one invocation.
New Relic’s separate browser diagnostic utility
New Relic documents a Diagnostics CLI for troubleshooting a browser-monitoring installation. Its guidance describes downloading the tool, then running a command with a browser URL and a browser-check suite. The checks cover matters such as browser settings, instrumentation snippets, and whether data has arrived. This is a setup-troubleshooting route—not the combined New Relic-and-Sentry localhost command in the title. See New Relic’s browser-monitoring troubleshooting guide.

- Data source: Does it collect browser timings, errors, backend traces, existing Sentry issues, or some combination?
- Instrumentation: Does the page need a browser agent, JavaScript snippet, backend agent, or other setup before useful data exists?
- Localhost support: Does the package documentation explicitly show the local URL and explain how the tool accesses it?
- Service connection: Does the command authenticate to both services and explain which project or account data it reads?
- Output: Does it report measured evidence from the current local run, or merely summarize previously collected monitoring data?
Unless the package’s own documentation supplies those details and a reproducible example, treat the combined one-command claim as unverified. The official product documentation supports separate New Relic monitoring and diagnostics workflows and Sentry issue investigation, not that specific integration.
