The team’s September 29 Week 4 unofficial chart places Dyami Brown ahead of Williams in one receiver grouping and Luke McCaffrey behind him. Because the chart divides receivers into three groupings, it does not establish a single team-wide order.
Where Williams sits on Washington’s latest depth chart
The Commanders’ Week 4 unofficial depth chart, released September 29, lists Williams second in a grouping led by Brown. McCaffrey is listed after him in that grouping. The chart places Terry McLaurin, Treylon Burks, Stefon Diggs and Jaylin Lane in separate receiver groupings rather than arranging every wide receiver in one numbered sequence.

That distinction matters: being second in a grouping is not the same as being named Washington’s overall second receiver. “WR2” is a possible description of Williams’ role, not a designation confirmed by this chart.

How his listing changed from Week 1
Washington’s Week 1 unofficial depth chart listed Williams behind Burks in the corresponding receiver grouping. By Week 4, Brown was listed ahead of Williams. The published order changed, but the chart does not explain why.

What that could mean for the London game
Washington is scheduled to play Indianapolis on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, according to the NFL schedule and its London games page. The Week 4 chart makes Williams a candidate for a meaningful place in the receiver rotation, but it does not confirm that he will be the second receiver by game usage.

The NFL’s 2026 Washington roster lists Williams as an active wide receiver from Clemson. Roster status confirms he is on the team’s roster; it does not establish his snap share, targets or role for this game.

- Whether Williams will play, or how many snaps he will take.
- How many targets he might receive.
- Whether Washington will use him as its second receiver in the game.
- Why the order in his grouping changed between the Week 1 and Week 4 charts.
The chart is explicitly unofficial, so treat it as a snapshot of a listed rotation rather than a game-day guarantee. The schedule, roster and chart can change; check Washington’s latest team listing and the NFL schedule close to kickoff.
