It depends on the provider. UPI’s availability to eligible users in India does not mean a particular US cloud service accepts UPI. Check that provider’s current checkout or ask its support team whether it accepts UPI payments from India, what currency it charges in, and what cancellation and refund terms apply.
UPI access and merchant acceptance are different
NPCI says UPI access has expanded to non-resident Indians with eligible NRE or NRO accounts and international mobile numbers. Users need a supported UPI app and linked bank account, and transactions are subject to bank terms. That describes who may be able to use UPI; it does not establish that any particular US merchant offers UPI at checkout. See NPCI’s UPI guidance for NRIs.

What to verify before paying
- UPI at checkout: Confirm that UPI is offered for customers paying from India, rather than assuming a general international-payment option includes it.
- Charge currency and fees: Check the displayed billing currency and whether your bank or payment provider may apply conversion or cross-border charges.
- Billing terms: Confirm whether payment recurs, how to cancel, and the provider’s refund terms before submitting payment.
- Service behavior: Understand what the loop service does and how you plan to use it; payment compatibility does not establish that a use complies with YouTube’s rules.
India’s cross-border payment framework regulates entities facilitating certain cross-border payments as Payment Aggregators-Cross Border, under an RBI circular dated October 31, 2023. That regulatory framework does not tell you which payment methods a particular merchant offers. Read the RBI circular.

Using a YouTube loop service does not make artificial engagement acceptable
YouTube’s channel monetization policy says creators should not artificially inflate engagement, including views, subscribers, likes, watch time, or ad impressions. It also describes possible responses to invalid traffic and fake engagement, including withholding, adjusting, charging back, or offsetting earnings. A loop service’s label alone does not determine compliance: what it does and how you use it matter. Do not use looping to manufacture views, watch time, or ad impressions.
