Not by itself. A YouTube playlist is a collection of videos, not a live broadcast. To send bhajans as a 24/7 YouTube live stream, you need a streaming workflow that plays the program and sends its feed to YouTube Live. YouTube documents encoder-based streaming, but does not promise uninterrupted 24/7 playback or describe a built-in feature that turns a playlist directly into a live stream.
Playlist playback and a live broadcast are different
A playlist lets viewers watch videos in sequence. A live stream is a live event published by your channel, with a video-and-audio feed sent to YouTube. YouTube documents these as separate features: playlists organize videos, while live streams can be sent using an encoder. Adding bhajans to a playlist does not make that playlist broadcast live.

For a continuous devotional-music program, your streaming workflow must play the bhajans in order, repeat them as needed, and keep sending the feed to YouTube Live. Scheduling a live event can help prepare its settings, but scheduling alone does not play or loop the program.

- An eligible channel: YouTube says the channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. See YouTube’s live-stream eligibility guidance.
- A streaming workflow: YouTube lists encoder streaming as a way to send a live feed. Choose a workflow that can play and repeat your program while maintaining the connection. YouTube’s documentation does not establish one universally reliable setup for 24/7 bhajan streams.
- A YouTube stream key: The encoder uses the channel’s live-stream settings to connect its feed to YouTube. Treat the key as private; anyone with access to it may be able to send a stream to your event.
- Rights for the music and recordings: Confirm that your permissions cover the specific recordings and all relevant musical rights before broadcasting.
- A recording plan, if you need an archive: YouTube’s guidance says streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived; streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. Arrange a local recording if retaining the complete program matters.
How to set up a bhajan live stream
- Check channel eligibility. Verify the channel and confirm it has no live-streaming restrictions in the preceding 90 days. If live streaming is unavailable, resolve the account or restriction issue before planning the broadcast.
- Clear the music rights. Check permissions for both the musical works and the particular recordings you will use. Religious or devotional subject matter does not, by itself, make a recording copyright-free.
- Build the program in your encoder workflow. Add the bhajan recordings in the intended order and configure the workflow to repeat them. Confirm that it can keep playing and reconnect or resume if the connection to YouTube is interrupted; do not assume a YouTube playlist or scheduled event will do this for you.
- Create or prepare the live event in YouTube Live. Use YouTube’s encoder streaming method, then copy the event’s stream settings into your encoder as directed by YouTube. Scheduled streams and reusable stream settings are available, but neither is a substitute for a running program feed.
- Test before going public. Check that the encoder is sending the intended audio and video, that the bhajans repeat as expected, and that the YouTube event is receiving the feed. A short test can reveal setup problems, but it cannot prove that a workflow will remain uninterrupted for 24 hours.
- Monitor the broadcast and keep a local recording if needed. Check the live event and your playback workflow for interruptions. If you need a complete recording of a stream longer than 12 hours, do not rely on YouTube’s archive alone.
Copyright and monetization are separate checks
YouTube says live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content. A match may produce a warning, interrupt the stream, or lead to termination. Its live-stream copyright guidance also notes that even a licensed creator may need the rights owner to add the channel to a Content ID allowlist. Confirm this with the owner if you have a licence and your stream is still being interrupted.

- 【Browser-Based Setup in Minutes】 Set up in minutes through any browser — no software, drivers or OS compatibility issues. DHCP is enabled by default to prevent IP address conflicts on your network. Note: basic networking knowledge (IP address, RTSP/RTMP configuration) is recommended for advanced streaming setups.
- 【Compact Design with Flexible Deployment】Palm-sized form factor (approx. 90×54×29mm) fits easily behind monitors, on shelves, or in equipment racks. Low power consumption ensures reliable 24/7 operation for live events, remote monitoring, and digital signage.
- 【Professional Audio & OSD Overlay + 1-Year Warranty】 Supports HDMI embedded audio plus external 3.5mm input. Built-in OSD generator adds scrolling text, logos, or timestamps directly to the video stream — ideal for branding, event info, or security labeling. Backed by a 1-year warranty and 24/7 online technical support.
Permission to broadcast does not guarantee monetization eligibility. YouTube reviews reused content separately from copyright enforcement, and that review applies at channel level. On July 15, 2025, YouTube said it clarified that repetitive or mass-produced content falls under its “inauthentic content” policy, while the reused-content policy did not change. If monetization matters, review YouTube’s channel monetization policies and consider whether your channel adds enough original value; a licence alone does not settle that question.
Choose software or hardware based on the setup
YouTube supports encoder-based streaming and recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production-value events. That is an optional path, not a requirement established for every bhajan loop. The available guidance does not compare encoder products or show that a particular device guarantees 24/7 continuity. Whichever workflow you choose, verify that it can repeat the program and maintain or restore the feed in your own setup.

Plan for the archive separately
YouTube’s archive guidance makes an important distinction: streams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, while a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If you need the full day’s bhajans afterward, arrange a local recording and check that it has enough storage and is actually recording. A YouTube archive should not be your only copy of a long broadcast.

Common problems and what to check
- The playlist plays for viewers, but there is no live event: A playlist is not a broadcast. Start an encoder workflow and send its program feed to a YouTube Live event.
- The scheduled event is waiting for a feed: Scheduling does not start playback. Check that your encoder is running, is configured with the correct event settings, and is sending the program.
- The stream stops or is interrupted over a music match: Review YouTube’s copyright notice and contact the relevant rights owner. If the content is licensed, ask whether the channel must be added to the Content ID allowlist.
- The channel cannot start a live stream: Check that it is verified and has no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days.
- The full 24-hour broadcast is missing from the archive: YouTube warns that streams over 12 hours may not be captured at all. Use a local recording when a complete copy matters.
- The workflow plays once and stops: Check its repeat or looping configuration. YouTube does not document a native playlist-to-live-stream conversion that handles continuous looping for you.
