Unlocking is different from bringing a phone to Tracfone
Tracfone’s bring-your-own-phone activation flow is for bringing an unlocked phone onto Tracfone service. It does not show that a phone currently locked to Tracfone qualifies to be unlocked. If your goal is to move a Tracfone Samsung elsewhere, request an unlock decision from Tracfone first.
