PiPilot is the clearest match in the reviewed options: its product page advertises “full Python / FastAPI backends” and “Free keyless instant deploy.” Those are vendor claims, not independently verified service guarantees, and the page does not specify the free deployment’s compute, storage, traffic, or uptime limits. If you need FastAPI specifically, verify those details before relying on the service for anything beyond a prototype.
What “AI app builder with backend” means for FastAPI
An AI app builder can generate an interface and application code, while a separate runtime executes the backend. Those are different jobs: a builder that scaffolds and deploys a full-stack app does not necessarily host a Python service, and a builder UI may itself run on a different stack from the apps it helps create.

For a FastAPI microservice, confirm that the platform supports Python and the way it expects the service to start and receive requests. Then establish where the generated code lives, where the service runs, and how it connects to the frontend and any data stores. A successful build or preview alone does not answer those deployment questions.
Which reviewed option explicitly supports FastAPI?
PiPilot: the explicit Python/FastAPI claim
PiPilot’s product page lists “Express, Hono — and full Python / FastAPI backends.” It also advertises “Free keyless instant deploy,” says code lives in the user’s Google Drive with Git, and describes deployment to the user’s own Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare, and app-store accounts. These are PiPilot’s descriptions of its product, not independently tested results. The reviewed page does not establish specific quotas, cold-start behavior, a service-level guarantee, or whether the advertised free deployment is suitable for production. PiPilot

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That makes PiPilot the strongest documented fit here if your requirement is an AI-assisted workflow that explicitly names FastAPI. Treat its free-deploy language as an invitation to evaluate the service, not proof of a particular capacity or reliability level. Check the current product terms and limits before moving sensitive or production workloads.
Freebuff: full-stack builder, but FastAPI hosting is not established
Freebuff describes a free app builder that scaffolds, previews, and deploys full-stack applications. Its documented default web workflow uses React and Convex, and it says you can connect an existing GitHub project. The reviewed page does not claim native FastAPI hosting, so it is better understood as a possible option for a Git-connected or React/Convex workflow—not as a verified Python runtime. Freebuff

Builder UI and generated-app runtime are separate choices
AI App Builder Open is an open-source Next.js builder interface whose repository says it uses the Totalum API for generated-app infrastructure. The repository documents running the builder on a Node.js host; that describes the builder, not proof that generated apps use FastAPI. AI App Builder Open repository
Its security warning is important if you deploy the builder itself: authentication is absent by default. The repository cautions that a public deployment could allow anyone to reach its routes and spend credits associated with the configured API key. Add authentication and ownership checks before exposing it publicly, and protect credentials rather than placing them in client-side code.

Choose a deployment path that fits the service
FastAPI’s official deployment documentation explains deployment considerations, and its container guide covers running FastAPI in containers. These explain deployment patterns; they do not certify a particular builder or host, or guarantee that a free service has adequate resources. Check the selected host’s current Python support and terms alongside the framework guidance. FastAPI deployment concepts · FastAPI in containers
When a builder’s managed runtime does not fit, a container-based deployment can make the service’s runtime and startup configuration more explicit, but you still need a host that supports the container and meets your requirements. Keep the builder, source repository, and production runtime conceptually separate: changing one does not automatically change the others.

Check these requirements before calling a free deployment production-ready
Use this checklist against the current plan and your application’s actual behavior. The reviewed product pages do not settle PiPilot’s detailed free-tier limits.
- Runtime: Confirm the supported Python version, dependency installation method, and required process or startup command.
- Capacity and usage: Find the current compute, request or traffic, execution-time, and deployment limits. Check whether any allowance is one-time or recurring.
- Persistence: Determine whether files and data survive restarts or redeployments, and use an appropriate persistent data service if they do not.
- Networking: Verify inbound access, outbound connections, ports, and how the frontend is expected to reach the API.
- Secrets: Check how environment variables or other credentials are stored and ensure secrets are not exposed in browser code or public repositories.
- Operations: Inspect logs, restart behavior, sleep or cold-start behavior, and any uptime or support commitments actually stated in the plan.
- Access control: Configure authentication and authorization for private data and actions; a publicly reachable API is not protected merely because an AI builder generated it.
- Ownership and portability: Establish where the code and project data live, how to export or clone them, and which account controls deployment.
Run the service, exercise the API from the intended frontend, test persistence across a restart, and inspect logs during failures before depending on it. These are checks for your own deployment, not results of a hands-on evaluation of the services discussed here.
