CV.GENer is presented by its creator as a free CV and resume builder that gathers details through conversational questions, then lets users edit a draft, polish writing with AI, select a template and export a PDF. Its creator describes the templates as “ATS-friendly,” but the available announcement does not document ATS testing or establish the tool’s current availability, pricing terms or privacy practices.
How CV.GENer is meant to work
In a DEV Community post dated September 23, 2026, the account CVGENer described the project as an alternative to filling out long resume forms. The creator summarized the goal this way: “To solve this, I built CV.GENer — a free, intuitive resume maker designed to make the process effortless.”

- Answer conversational questions. The announced “Interactive AI Chat Mode (Q&A)” collects information through a chat-style exchange and uses it to create a CV or resume draft.
- Review and arrange the draft. The creator says users can edit the content and reorganize sections in a visual form.
- Polish the wording. An AI writing assistant is advertised for improving bullet points and job descriptions.
- Choose a design and export. The announcement describes multiple templates and an “Instant PDF Export” feature.
These are features described by the creator, not independently verified product tests. The announcement calls the builder and PDF export free, but does not explain whether there are usage limits, account requirements or other pricing conditions.

Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWhat “ATS-friendly” does—and doesn’t—establish
CVGENer labels its templates “ATS-Friendly.” That is a product description, not evidence that a particular applicant tracking system will parse every document correctly or that using a template improves screening outcomes. The announcement gives no test method, list of compatible systems or measured results.
#1 Best Overall
Before relying on an exported CV for an application, review the PDF for readable text, clear section labels and sensible ordering. If an employer or application portal specifies a file format or layout, follow those instructions; a template label alone cannot guarantee compatibility.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What remains unconfirmed
The creator’s announcement is the available basis for describing CV.GENer. The project website could not be independently reviewed, so the announcement does not establish whether the service is currently available or whether its present features match the description. It also does not document how CV text or AI inputs are handled, whether a privacy policy is available, or what current operating and pricing terms apply. Since a CV can contain personal contact and employment information, check the service’s current privacy information before entering details.
