PC Slower Than It Used to Be?
A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down
One free scan finds every outdated or missing driver and matches the right update for your exact hardware.Free scan · exact hardware matchFor ideas built from LEGO bricks you already own, Brickit is the closest match among the alternatives listed here: it scans a photo of a scattered pile, suggests builds, and helps locate the pieces. Other tools solve different problems—such as keeping a corrected digital inventory, designing from a text prompt, or following official set instructions—so the right choice depends on what you want to do next.
What Brickit does—and what it does not establish
Brickit’s official site describes a workflow in which you scatter bricks, photograph them, and get build ideas with guidance for finding the pieces in the pile. It also describes a digital inventory organized through numbered Pockets, for collections ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of bricks. Those are the company’s stated features, not independent findings about recognition accuracy.

Brickit says it is free with some paid Pro features and is available on iOS and Android. Its Google Play listing surfaced as version 5.0 with a September 10, 2026 date; app versions and features can change. The listing also says the app was created by fans and is not an official LEGO product. A U.S. App Store search result showed a one-month Pro purchase for $6.99 with subscription-renewal terms; that storefront-specific price may change and should not be assumed for other regions.
The official site also describes a version for schools and camps, with setup intended for K–8 groups. Its current features, availability, and terms are not established here.

| Brick Generator | Generating LEGO-style concepts from text prompts and producing LDraw output | Starts with a written idea rather than the bricks you already own |
| LEGO | Official sets and instructions, or buying parts | Useful when you want an official build or need specific pieces, rather than discovering a build from a loose pile |

| FieldDay | Building custom vision models or AR and Lens Studio experiences | A developer-oriented adjacent tool, rather than a ready-made app for finding builds from household bricks |

Choose by your starting point
You have a loose pile and want something to build
Brickit is the most direct fit in this group because its stated workflow starts with a photo of existing bricks and returns ideas plus help locating pieces. The available sources do not independently verify how reliably it recognizes different bricks or whether every suggested build can be completed from the photographed pile.

You want a collection you can maintain and correct
Consider Pileometer’s described batch-scanning and correction workflow. When evaluating any inventory app, check whether you can review uncertain identifications, fix errors, and keep the resulting catalog useful over time. An inventory is not the same thing as a set of build instructions.

You have a concept, not a pile to scan
Brick Generator is the prompt-led option in this comparison. Product Hunt describes text-prompted LEGO-style concepts and LDraw output. Confirm that its output format and level of detail suit your design workflow; the listing does not establish that a generated model can be built from bricks you own.

You want a known design or need specific pieces
LEGO’s official sets and instructions address that need, and parts can be purchased when something is missing. This is a different route from discovering a model based on a pile. Buying additional bricks is not presented as a requirement for Brickit’s core scan-and-discover use.
You are exploring camera or vision tools beyond LEGO
Campedia is described as a general-purpose visual identification and photo-plus-voice question tool. FieldDay is aimed at custom vision models and AR or Lens Studio experiences. Neither is described as a direct, ready-to-use substitute for Brickit’s pile-to-build workflow.

Questions to check before choosing
Product Hunt mentions practical considerations such as integrations, cloud dependence, and sharing, but the available descriptions do not provide measured evaluations. Check each current product listing for details, and compare the points that matter to your workflow:
- Scanning effort: Can you scan one pile or batches, and how much preparation does the app require?
- Recognition correction: Can you inspect and fix mistaken brick identifications?
- Useful output: Does the app give build guidance or a parts list, or only a visual concept or inventory?
- Portability: Can you export or reuse designs in a format such as LDraw if that matters to you?
- Privacy and sharing: Check whether the service relies on cloud processing and what sharing or account controls it offers.
Brickit’s homepage attributes this statement to Lucas Matney of Fast Company: “The most impressive element of the app is its speed — the app is able to make sense of hundreds of bricks in a pile within seconds”. That is a vendor-site quotation, not an independently documented benchmark, so it should not be treated as proof of general scan speed or accuracy.
