What the Brawl Stars theme actually is
The package is a Windows theme file intended to apply Brawl Stars imagery to your desktop. The Windows Mode page previews nine subjects, including cyberpunk, festive, detective, robot, racing, sunset, stunt-show, Spike and space-adventure artwork. Its theme directory describes automatic wallpaper rotation, but the individual page does not specify the interval.
Windows themes can contain backgrounds, colors, sounds and other personalization settings. That is a description of the Windows format, not proof that this particular package includes custom icons, cursors, sounds, fonts or accent colors. The page does not publish a complete manifest, file size, image resolutions, checksum or license statement.
Theme versus wallpaper pack
- Theme: A package Windows can import through Personalization.
- Wallpaper pack: Individual images that you select yourself.
- Skin pack: A more invasive modification that can patch system resources; this download should not be treated as one.
- Brawl Stars for PC: The game client, which this file does not install.
Is it official?
No official Microsoft or Supercell release is established. Windows Mode hosts the page and calls the item a custom theme created by its author. Do not assume that Brawl Stars branding is licensed for redistribution, or that installing the file grants permission to republish its artwork. Download and install on Windows 11
- Open the original Windows Mode page and save the download locally. The direct endpoint identified on that page is this
.deskthemepackfile. - Scan the saved file with Windows Security or another trusted security product before opening it.
- Check that the filename ends in
.deskthemepack, not.html,.txtor an executable extension. - Double-click the file and allow Windows to import or apply the theme.
- Open Settings → Personalization → Themes and select the imported Brawl Stars theme.
- Use the available Background, Colors, Sounds and other personalization controls to change its appearance.

Install on Windows 10
- Save and scan the
.deskthemepackfile. - Double-click it to import the theme.
- Open Settings → Personalization → Themes, or right-click the desktop and choose Personalize.
- Select the imported theme.
The publisher lists Windows 10 compatibility, so the package may still work on an existing installation. However, Microsoft support for Windows 10 ended on October 14, 2025. It is a legacy compatibility target, not a currently supported operating system.
If the download does not start
- Right-click the download link and choose Save link as, as the source page suggests.
- Try another browser and check its blocked-download notification.
- Temporarily disable only nonessential download-blocking extensions, then re-enable them immediately.
- Save to Downloads or the Desktop and verify the extension.
- If the host returns an error, do not automatically use an unknown mirror. The current endpoint’s availability and integrity are not independently verified.
Never rename an .exe, .msi, .bat or .scr file to make it look like a theme.

If double-clicking does nothing
- Right-click the file, choose Properties and confirm the full name ends in
.deskthemepack. Enable visible file extensions in File Explorer if necessary. - Check whether Windows shows an Unblock option. Use it only after scanning a file obtained from a source you trust.
- Look in Settings → Personalization → Themes; the theme may have imported without becoming active.
- If no theme appears, delete the incomplete file and obtain a fresh copy from the original page.
- Do not disable Microsoft Defender or SmartScreen merely to force installation.
Back up your current appearance first
- Open Settings → Personalization → Themes.
- Save the current combination as a named theme when that option is available.
- Note your wallpaper, accent color, sounds and desktop-icon choices.
- If you frequently install third-party customization files, consider creating a restore point.

Customize or undo the theme
After applying it, adjust the background, colors and any other controls Windows exposes. Desktop icons such as This PC and Recycle Bin can be managed separately; see Microsoft’s desktop icon guide.
- Open Settings → Personalization → Themes.
- Select another theme first.
- Right-click the saved Brawl Stars theme and choose Delete.
Built-in Windows themes cannot be deleted.
Safer alternative: build a Brawl Stars slideshow manually
Use this option if the file is unavailable or flagged, if you want exact image control, or if you use multiple monitors.

- Obtain legally usable Brawl Stars wallpapers from a trustworthy source and place them in one folder.
- Open Settings → Personalization → Background.
- Set Personalize your background to Slideshow and select the folder.
- Choose the change interval and shuffle setting.
- Open Personalization → Colors and select a matching accent color.
- Leave sounds, cursors and desktop icons unchanged unless you deliberately want to customize them.

Wallpaper cropping, stretching or blurriness can occur when source images do not match a monitor’s aspect ratio or resolution. The available page does not guarantee 4K, ultrawide or multi-monitor behavior.

- Scan before opening and keep Windows security protections enabled.
- Reject executable installers, password-protected archives and “theme activators.”
- Delete the file if Windows reports an unexplained security problem.
