BPM: Bullets Per Minute is a rhythm-action roguelike, not a game with cheat codes confirmed by the official sources reviewed here. Its core advantage comes from learning each weapon’s timing, reading enemy attack rhythms, and moving on the beat. Below are practical tips for doing that, plus a safe way to check community claims about secrets and unlocks.
Are there cheat codes for BPM: Bullets Per Minute?
The official Steam listing and the Steam Community guide index do not establish specific cheat codes, hidden unlock requirements, or exploit steps. The guide index has a “Secrets” category, but that only shows that users have published guides under that heading; it does not verify a particular claim.

Before relying on a code or unlock tip, check the individual guide for the exact sequence of actions and the game version it applies to. Treat a claim as unconfirmed if it lacks a reproducible procedure or independent corroboration. This guide does not present unverified codes as working cheats.

BPM ties player actions and enemy actions to the soundtrack. Weapons have their own firing and reloading behavior, while enemies attack in rhythmic patterns. That makes timing a combat skill: firing at random can be less useful than learning when your current weapon is ready and when an enemy is about to act.
#1 Best Overall
- Features exclusive cover artwork only available on Amazon
- Shoot, jump and dodge to the beat while battling hordes of enemies
- Fight powerful bosses in challenging battles that will push you to the edge
- Wield a powerful arsenal of weapons, all with different behavior for firing and reloading to the beat
- Explore randomly generated dungeons and collect new weapons, abilities and items as you play to an epic rock opera soundtrack
Learn the rhythm of the weapon you have
- Pay attention to the firing and reload cues for each weapon rather than assuming they all work the same way.
- Use the beat to anticipate when you can fire again. If an attack does not land when expected, pause long enough to identify whether the issue was timing, reloading, or aim before changing your approach.
- When a run gives you a different weapon, treat its timing as a new pattern to learn instead of carrying over the previous weapon’s cadence.
Observe enemies before committing
- Watch an enemy’s attack rhythm for a moment so you can recognize when it is preparing to act.
- Choose whether to attack or evade around that pattern; bosses have distinct sequences, so do not assume one response will work for every encounter.
- If you are taking damage, focus on the timing of the incoming attack before trying to increase your rate of fire.
Use movement as part of the rhythm
The game lists double jumps, dashes, rocket jumps, and bunny hops among its movement options. Practice these as ways to reposition or avoid attacks, and coordinate them with the beat rather than treating movement as separate from combat. No single move guarantees safety; the useful choice depends on the attack pattern and where you are in the room.
Adapt your plan to each run
BPM uses randomly generated dungeons and lets you collect different weapons, items, and abilities. A fixed build or route therefore may not fit the next run. Base decisions on what that run actually gives you: understand the weapon’s firing behavior, note what an item or ability changes, and adjust how you approach enemies accordingly.
The Steam listing describes seven bosses before the final boss, 10 characters, and more than 60 items. These are feature counts stated on the store page, not a promise that every run will contain the same encounters or equipment.

Where to check guides, platforms, and safety information
The Steam Community guide index organizes user-created guides into categories including secrets, walkthroughs, gameplay basics, characters, loot, weapons, maps, and achievements. Use those categories to find a specific kind of help, but verify any code, unlock condition, or exploit in the guide itself rather than treating the category label as proof.
Steam lists the game’s release date as September 15, 2020. Playtonic Games lists Steam, GOG, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch; the Nintendo Switch listing is another official store page. Store availability and pricing can vary by region, so check the storefront for your location. These listings do not establish that every platform has identical features.
Steam warns that the game contains flashing images, and Nintendo also provides a photosensitivity warning. Review the relevant Steam page or Nintendo page before playing if that warning matters to you.
