The Boulies EP600 is the more adjustable option, with adaptive lumbar support, seat-depth and backrest-height adjustments, flip-up 6D armrests, and an integrated footrest. The Master Series is the alternative if you prefer a cold-cure foam seat and a choice of upholstery; its standard and Max sizes have different fit guidance. Neither is a universal comfort winner: compare the chairs’ dimensions with your own body and a chair that already fits you.

Choose the EP600 if adjustment range matters most
The EP600’s listed adjustments address several separate fit points: lumbar height and angle, seat depth, backrest height, headrest position, and armrest position. That makes it the clearer choice on paper if you want to fine-tune support rather than rely mainly on a fixed seat shape. The armrests also rotate and flip up, and the chair includes a footrest.

Choose Master or Master Max if foam and upholstery choice matter more
The Master line is a better match if you want a seat Boulies specifies as 100% cold-cure foam or want to select among the listed upholstery options. Both sizes have built-in lumbar support, 8-way armrests, seat-height adjustment, full-length recline, rocking, and a tilt lock. The product specification does not give a recline angle, so it is not possible to compare its maximum recline directly with the EP600’s stated 120 degrees.

Boulies recommends the standard Master for users 155–180 cm tall and under 110 kg. Choose it only after checking its detailed dimensions against your own proportions and the available chair space.

Boulies’ current product-page guidance recommends Master Max for users 180–200 cm tall and under 135 kg. Its support FAQ instead describes it as suitable up to 198 cm, while also noting its taller backrest, wider seat, and longer gas lift. Because those published height limits differ, check the dimension diagram and the guidance for the exact regional product before buying rather than treating either number as a guarantee of fit.

How to decide whether either size will fit
The published height bands are starting points, not individualized fit assessments. The EP600 range overlaps both Master sizes, and people of the same height can have different torso and leg proportions. Before choosing, compare the detailed chair dimensions with a chair that fits you and consider the following:
