Apple describes Invisible Ink as a bubble effect for an iMessage; its instructions allow you to insert a photo before choosing the effect. Apple’s guide to using message effects and the iPhone user guide provide the corresponding steps.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Does the photo disappear after the recipient sees it?
No. Invisible Ink blurs the image until the recipient reveals it, but Apple’s instructions do not describe a viewing timer, one-time access, or automatic deletion of the photo. Do not treat the effect as a way to make the image vanish from the conversation or the recipient’s device.

Is this the same as an expiring audio message?
No. Apple documents a separate behavior for audio messages: an audio recording may be removed from the conversation on the sender’s iPhone two minutes after it is sent or listened to, unless it is kept; a setting can be changed to keep audio messages. That behavior applies to audio messages, not photos, and does not make Invisible Ink an expiry feature. See Apple’s instructions for sending and receiving audio messages.
