POP is the clearest cross-platform choice, Pebblebee is the rechargeable clip-on, and Tile is worth considering if you want Tile’s app. These are Bluetooth item finders that rely on nearby network devices when an item is out of your phone’s Bluetooth range—not standalone GPS trackers with continuous live location.

For trackers that support Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, compatibility does not mean a single tracker can use both networks at once. Check the setup instructions for the specific model and choose the network you intend to use.

1. Chipolo POP: the clearest choice across phone ecosystems
Chipolo POP can be paired with Apple Find My on a compatible iPhone or Google Find Hub on Android. It joins only one of those networks at a time; switching requires removing or resetting the tracker and pairing it again on the other network. Chipolo lists a replaceable CR2032 coin battery, up to 12 months of battery life, and IP55 dust and water resistance. See Chipolo’s POP product details.

Phone requirements vary with the network and companion-app features. Chipolo says Google Find Hub use requires Android 9 or later with Google Play Services, while Apple Find My use requires iOS 14.5 or later (or iPadOS 14.5 or later on iPad). Some additional Chipolo app features require Android 12 or later or iOS 17 or later; its compatibility support page gives the requirements. The Chipolo app also offers features such as phone finding and, on Android, out-of-range alerts; iPhone users can use Find My left-behind alerts.

Range and price are not guarantees
Tom’s Guide’s 2026 review reported a $29 U.S. price, listed a 300-foot stated range, and recorded a 35-foot range in its own test. Those are the reviewer’s dated price and test figures, not a guaranteed distance or a test conducted for this article; walls, interference, phone placement, and surroundings can affect Bluetooth performance. 2. Pebblebee Clip Universal: a rechargeable tracker that clips on
The Pebblebee Clip Universal is designed to attach to keys or a bag using its included carabiner keyring. Google Store lists it as compatible with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated for up to 12 months per charge and a USB-C cable in the box. Pebblebee also describes LED indicators on the Clip. The battery-life figure is a product specification, not an independent test. For Google Find Hub use, Google Store specifies Android 9 or later, location services, Bluetooth, and internet or mobile connectivity; age eligibility applies in some countries. The sources cited here do not establish a current U.S. price, so check the live listing and confirm it is the Universal Clip model before purchasing.
3. Tile Mate: an alternative with its own app ecosystem
Tile Mate is the distinct option here if you are comfortable using the Tile app and its associated Life360 ecosystem. Do not treat it as a tracker that joins Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. Tom’s Guide’s 2026 comparison lists a 350-foot claimed range for Tile and says its reviewer did not reach that figure in testing, without giving an exact observed distance. A February 2026 device guide from the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward Island describes Tile Mate as using Bluetooth with the Tile app and showing a last location on a map. It says the tracker does not offer GPS or real-time location monitoring. Its pricing information is Canadian, not a current U.S. price. When your phone is close enough, a tracker can help you locate an item nearby, often by making it sound. Once it is beyond direct Bluetooth reach, its finding network may update its location when a participating nearby device detects it. That is different from a tracker with GPS and a continuous mobile connection: none of the three picks should be treated as a live location monitor. Coverage, timing, and recovery depend on nearby devices, network and phone settings, and the place where an item is lost. Use these for belongings, not to track people or as a substitute for a GPS safety device.

How to choose between them
- Match the network to your phone. If you want Apple Find My or Google Find Hub, POP and Pebblebee offer a choice between them. Tile Mate uses Tile’s app ecosystem. For POP and Pebblebee, select the supported network during setup rather than assuming one tracker can report to both simultaneously.
- Choose the battery style you will maintain. POP uses a replaceable coin cell; Pebblebee Clip Universal recharges by cable. Consider whether you would rather keep a spare battery or remember to recharge the tracker.
- Choose a shape that stays attached. POP is a key-fob style tracker, while Pebblebee’s included carabiner makes it straightforward to clip to a bag or keys. If you need a wallet-thin device, look specifically at card trackers; this comparison does not establish a current card model to recommend.
- Treat range as a variable, not a buying promise. Manufacturer and reviewer distance figures are not equivalent, and real Bluetooth performance depends on surroundings. Prioritize the finding network and where you plan to attach the tracker over the largest advertised number.
