Choose the right kind of 24/7 broadcast
“24/7” can mean different things. A playlist of prerecorded devotional videos is not the same workflow as a live camera at a temple or a sequence of separately scheduled programs. Match the encoder settings to YouTube

YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension of RTMP. YouTube transcodes incoming streams for playback across devices and network conditions. A higher source resolution does not remove the need for a stable, compatible upload from the encoder or hosted service. Confirm the selected service’s supported formats and connection requirements before preparing a large library of files.
Plan recordings, archives, and devotional-content rights
Do not rely on a 24/7 event as a complete replay
YouTube documents automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours. A continuous 24/7 event exceeds that threshold, so do not assume the full day will become one complete replay. Confirm rights for the full program
Devotional subject matter does not by itself establish permission to broadcast a recording. Check rights for the performance, musical composition, recording, chants, and any third-party visuals or footage. YouTube says live streams remain subject to its Community Guidelines and Terms; a streaming service does not grant rights or guarantee that a broadcast will avoid claims or restrictions.

Compare services on continuity, not just the word “24/7”
Before paying for any provider or committing a channel to an unattended loop, check the complete workflow. A provider’s description of continuous streaming does not establish its India-region route, support response, or performance under your conditions.
- Unattended continuity: What happens after a dropped YouTube connection, a provider interruption, or a file error? Is recovery automatic, and does the stream resume at the right point?
- Playlist control: Can you order, repeat, and replace videos as needed? How are transitions and end-of-file behavior handled?
- Compatibility: Which formats, resolutions, codecs, frame rates, protocols, and stream settings are supported?
- Recording and replay: Does the service keep an independent recording or export? Do not confuse that with YouTube’s archive of the live event.
