Which Soulslike games offer more control over the challenge?
“More relaxed” can mean less incoming damage, slower action, fewer timed button presses, or help with navigation. The games below offer different combinations, so choose by the kind of friction you most want to reduce. Even with settings adjusted, particular encounters may still be challenging.

Another Crab’s Treasure: look here for explicit assists
The Steam listing for Another Crab’s Treasure describes it as a Soulslike designed to be approachable for newcomers while retaining a challenge for experienced players. It also says the game provides assist options and lists adjustable difficulty among its accessibility features. That makes it a useful first look if you want challenge adjustment built into the game. The listing does not specify the exact effect of every assist, and the right settings may still leave some players challenged.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order: tune difficulty and reduce timed inputs
EA’s accessibility page for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order documents four difficulty levels that affect parry timing, incoming damage, and enemy aggression. You can change difficulty at any time. Other options include auto-lock targeting, auto-climb, and a control setting that reduces button presses and removes timed button presses for moves and quick-time events. When you respawn, you return to the last major regional checkpoint.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: the broadest documented set of modifiers
EA’s accessibility article for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor describes five difficulty options, from Story Mode to Jedi Grand Master. You can change difficulty outside combat without affecting in-game rewards. Separate gameplay modifiers include camera auto-targeting, button-mash settings, hold/pull toggles, navigation assist, and Slow Mode, which slows action during combat and platforming. Jonas Lundqvist, Senior Director of Development, said: “The Slow Mode has been a particularly exciting feature to work on because of its versatility.” That is a comment about the feature’s design, not a measured claim about player outcomes.
Lies of P: selectable difficulty added in a 2025 update
NEOWIZ’s June 6, 2025 launch notes for Lies of P: Overture say the update added three difficulty levels, changeable at any time through Settings → Gameplay → Difficulty. The notes also document Colorblind Mode, auto lock-on when attacking, configurable dash and dodge controls, and additional key customization. These are patch-note details; check that the installed version includes the update. A separate note about increased difficulty from the fourth playthrough onward concerns repeat runs, not the initial playthrough.

How to choose the right kind of relaxed
Use the options that address your main obstacle rather than relying on an overall “easy” label.
| If you want… | Consider | What the cited information establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Explicit assist options and adjustable difficulty | Another Crab’s Treasure | Steam lists assist options and adjustable difficulty; it does not detail every assist’s effect. |
| Less pressure from timed button inputs | Jedi: Fallen Order | EA documents a control option that reduces button presses and removes timed presses for moves and quick-time events. |
| Slower combat and platforming action | Jedi: Survivor | EA documents Slow Mode for combat and platforming. |
| Navigation help | Jedi: Survivor or Jedi: Fallen Order | EA documents navigation assist for Survivor and auto-climb for Fallen Order. |
| Difficulty changes after starting | Fallen Order, Jedi: Survivor, or Lies of P | EA says Fallen Order difficulty can change at any time; Survivor difficulty changes are available outside combat; NEOWIZ says Lies of P difficulty can change at any time. |
Setting and tone matter, too
If you would rather choose by world than by settings, the two Star Wars Jedi games are the fit for a Star Wars adventure. Another Crab’s Treasure uses an underwater setting. NEOWIZ describes Lies of P as a Pinocchio-inspired adventure with a Belle Époque-style setting.

- 2-Pack Gamer Towels: Includes two matching hand towels with the phrase “You Dried,” styled after the iconic “You Died” screen from Soulslike games
- Perfect Size: Each towel measures 16 x 27 inches, making them ideal as hand towels, guest towels, or kitchen towels.
- Soft & Absorbent: Made from 100% cotton for a comfortable feel and everyday practicality.
- Subtle Gamer Decor: A fun, understated reference to Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Nightreign, and Bloodborne that fans will instantly recognize.
- Great Gift for Gamers: Makes a unique housewarming, holiday, or birthday gift—perfect for gaming bathrooms, kitchens, or display decor.
These options support an informed choice, but they do not establish a universal difficulty order or guarantee how relaxed a particular player will find a game. A specific boss, platforming section, or control scheme may remain demanding even after you adjust the available settings.
