What to check before choosing a replacement
- Continuous loop or finite event: Confirm that the product explicitly supports an ongoing 24/7 mode if that is the goal. Scheduling a prerecorded event alone is not the same capability.
- Destination and access: Check which platform is supported and whether continuous streaming is restricted to a particular plan. OneStream Live’s documented 24/7 mode, for example, is YouTube-only and requires Enterprise.
- Duration and restart behavior: Check maximum run length and what happens when the stream ends or disconnects. OneStream Live’s help page specifies up to 30 days for its 24/7 mode.
