Best Graphics Settings for Crimson Moon on PC: What We Know

Steam lists PC requirements for Crimson Moon, but no official source establishes a best preset, FPS target, or ideal FSR mode. Here’s what players can rely on.

There is no verified best-settings preset for Crimson Moon on PC. Steam publishes minimum and recommended hardware requirements, but neither promises a particular resolution, frame rate, or graphics preset. Use those specs to judge whether your PC meets the game’s stated baseline, then adjust the options available in your build against your own balance of image quality and smoothness.

What graphics settings should you use for more FPS?

No official setting-by-setting guide or verified benchmark establishes which options to change for a specific frame-rate target. The available official information does not identify the game’s current graphics-menu options, recommend values for shadows or effects, or compare resolutions and GPUs. That means a specific “best” preset would be guesswork, not a tested recommendation.

For a practical starting point, use the graphics options that actually appear in your installed build and make changes one at a time. If performance is below your preference, try available options that reduce image quality or rendering workload; if the picture looks too soft or effects are compromised, restore the relevant options. Compare changes in the same scene and at the same resolution so you can judge the trade-off. This is a method for tuning your own system, not a claim about an officially recommended configuration.

Tier Operating system / API Processor Memory Graphics Storage
Minimum Windows 11, DirectX 12 Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 16 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, AMD Radeon RX 5700, or Intel Arc A580 50 GB
Recommended Windows 11, DirectX 12 Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 32 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc A770 50 GB

Meeting the minimum tier does not establish a guaranteed frame rate or graphics quality. The recommended tier also does not specify an FPS target, resolution, or preset. Treat these tiers as the published hardware guidance, not as a promise of a particular result. Steam’s Crimson Moon listing

Should you use FSR?

AMD says FSR helps deliver a responsive PC experience while maintaining visual detail and atmosphere in Crimson Moon. AMD does not name an optimal FSR mode for any resolution, publish FPS measurements, or compare image quality between modes. So there is no evidence-based mode recommendation here.

Samsung 27" Odyssey G5 (G51F) Series QHD (1440P) Gaming Monitor | 180Hz, 1ms, AMD FreeSync, HDR10, Height Adj Stand, Black Equalizer, Virtual Aim Point, Auto Source Switch+ (LS27FG512ENXZA)
  • QHD Resolution (2560 x 1440) has 1.7 times the pixel density of Full HD for incredibly detailed pinsharp images
  • HDR10 provides brighter highlights and nuanced shadow for added depth - making every scene feel more vivid and realistic
  • The 180Hz refresh rate minimizes lag for gameplay with ultra-smooth action. Plus, the 1ms response time helps capture your moves in real-time, allowing you to react fast for gaming precision
  • AMD FreeSync reduces choppiness, screen lag and image tearing, ensuring that your fast-paced, complex in-game action is stable with minimal stutter
  • Ergonomic stand allows for tilt, pivot and height adjustments to maximize gaming comfort

If an FSR option is present in your current game build, try the available modes and choose based on your own preference for responsiveness versus image clarity. Check the game’s actual menu rather than assuming a particular mode or option is available. AMD’s Crimson Moon page

What is not established about PC settings?

  • The graphics options and presets included in the current PC build.
  • Recommended values for image quality, shadows, effects, or other individual settings.
  • The best configuration for a particular graphics card, resolution, or frame-rate goal.
  • Whether a later patch has changed the available settings or performance.

Without a verified settings list or matched-system testing, any exact preset would imply evidence that is not currently established. If you tune the game yourself, assess image clarity and frame-time consistency as well as average performance, and keep the game version, resolution, GPU, and test scene consistent when comparing changes.
