Does Edge have a built-in full-page screenshot?
Yes. Microsoft says Edge Screenshot can capture an entire webpage—including content beyond the visible screen—or a selected area. You can add markup with a pen or touch before copying or saving the capture. - Open the page you want to capture in Edge.
- Open Edge’s Screenshot feature and choose Capture full page for the whole webpage. Choose a selected-area option if you only need part of the page.
- Review the capture, add markup if needed, then copy or save it using the available controls.
Microsoft describes the feature as built into Edge, so this is the first option to try if you do not want another extension. Labels and availability can vary by Edge version and platform; consult the current Edge interface or Microsoft guide if the controls differ.
Check the result on complex pages
A full-page capture is not automatically a faithful record of every dynamic site. Before relying on it, inspect the saved image for sticky headers or sidebars, lazy-loaded sections, animations, and unusually long content. Should you capture an image or print the page to PDF?
Choose based on what you need to keep. A screenshot preserves a visual image of the page; printing is generally the better route when you want a readable or printable document. Microsoft documents printing from Edge and a clutter-free print option that removes surrounding material such as ads and navigation.
