Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, God of War Ragnarök, and Star Wars Outlaws each match some of those qualities, but none is a full substitute for the Jedi games.
Cal Kestis’s story runs from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which EA describes as the next chapter. The official sources cited here do not announce another Jedi game or give a release date.

Which game should you choose?
| Game | Closest match to the Jedi experience | What is different | Best fit if you want |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice | Deliberate sword combat, stealth, vertical traversal, and prosthetic tools | A dangerous dark-fantasy adventure set in late-1500s Sengoku Japan, not Star Wars | Demanding melee fights and movement |
| Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut | Exploration, katana combat, stealth, and a cinematic story | An open-world samurai story in feudal Japan | A broad world with several combat approaches |
| God of War Ragnarök | Story-led action-adventure with combat and exploration | A Norse mythology setting, not a Jedi or lightsaber adventure | A cinematic single-player story |
| Star Wars Outlaws | Star Wars setting, exploration, stealth, and missions | You play as scoundrel Kay Vess, with blaster combat and gadgets rather than Jedi saber combat | More time in the Star Wars galaxy |
For sword combat and demanding fights: Sekiro
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the strongest pick here if what you miss most is committing to close-range sword fights and mastering movement. Its official description highlights sword combat, stealth, vertical traversal, prosthetic tools, and ninja abilities.
It is not a science-fiction adventure: the game takes place in a dark-fantasy version of late-1500s Sengoku Japan. Its official presentation describes a dangerous, punishing journey, so choose it for the challenge and combat focus—not because it is confirmed to offer difficulty settings like Jedi: Survivor.

- The following games are included in the cartridge: STAR WARS Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (3.6 GB)
- STAR WARS Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (1.1 GB)
- STAR WARS Episode I Racer (254 MB)
- STAR WARS Republic Commando (2.5 GB)
- STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed (3.4 GB)
For open-world exploration and varied combat: Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is a good fit if you want to roam a large world, alternate between direct melee combat and stealth, and follow a cinematic story. PlayStation describes katana and bow combat, exploration, stealth, and a story that includes Iki Island.
The trade-off is the setting and structure: it is an open-world samurai story in feudal Japan, not a science-fiction journey across a galaxy. PlayStation lists the game for PS4 and PS5; check your region and platform before choosing an edition.

God of War Ragnarök suits players whose priority is a substantial-feeling action-adventure built around story, combat, and exploration. PlayStation’s game pages cover PS5 and PS4.

Its setting is Norse mythology, and the cited PlayStation description does not establish Jedi-style traversal or lightsaber-like combat. Treat it as an alternative for the story-led action-adventure side of Jedi, rather than a close combat match.

- Galactic scale space combat: Space combat has been designed for Star Wars Battlefront II from the ground up with distinct handling, weapons and customization options

For another Star Wars adventure: Star Wars Outlaws
Star Wars Outlaws keeps you in the Star Wars galaxy while changing the kind of hero and play. The official page calls it the first open-world Star Wars game and follows Kay Vess, a scoundrel whose adventure features exploration, blaster combat, stealth, gadgets, and missions.
That makes Outlaws the natural choice if setting matters most. Kay is not a Jedi, and the highlighted gameplay is not the saber-combat experience of the Cal Kestis games.

Check platform and difficulty before choosing
Platform availability can narrow the list. EA lists Jedi: Survivor for PC and PlayStation and Xbox platforms, while PlayStation lists Ghost of Tsushima and God of War Ragnarök for PS4 and PS5. EA’s Survivor FAQ also says the game has five selectable difficulty levels, including options for easier or harder play. The cited material does not establish a directly comparable difficulty lineup across all four recommendations, so check each game’s current platform listing and settings for your region.
