If you want another adventure built around climbing, danger, and a hunt for lost treasure, start with Tomb Raider—especially Rise of the Tomb Raider. For archaeological pulp with a different hero, try Indiana Jones and the Great Circle; for exploration and traversal paired with very different combat, choose STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor. If what you want most is more Naughty Dog character storytelling, The Last of Us Part I is a strong option, but its emotional tone is much heavier.
These games share parts of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy rather than reproducing it. The best fit depends on whether you most enjoyed its treasure hunt, movement, cinematic action, puzzles, or character-led story.

What makes The Lost Legacy a useful comparison point?
PlayStation describes The Lost Legacy as Chloe Frazer’s adventure with mercenary Nadine Ross, set in India’s Western Ghats as they search for the Golden Tusk of Ganesh. Its official feature description highlights cinematic combat, exploration, traversal through varied environments, complex puzzles, and action set pieces. Those are more useful comparison points than simply calling it a third-person action game. PlayStation’s game overview also places it within a series known for historical mysteries, global locations, complex characters, and blockbuster action.
Use these five questions to decide which element you want to carry into your next game:
#1 Best Overall
- From award-winning developer Naughty Dog comes a brand new Uncharted game, starring Chloe Frazer.
- Dynamic game play; cinematic combat; exploration
- Complex puzzles; jaw-dropping environments
- Do you want another archaeological treasure hunt?
- Is climbing and traversal the main draw?
- Do you prefer cinematic pacing and set pieces, or more open exploration?
- Would you like familiar gunplay, or are you open to a different combat system?
- Are you looking for a similar adventure mood, or primarily for character-focused storytelling?
Which games are closest to the treasure-hunt and climbing feel?
Tomb Raider: the strongest first stop
The Tomb Raider games are the closest broad match in the recommendations considered here for archaeological discovery, traversal, and danger in a grounded adventure. A recent comparison roundup names Rise of the Tomb Raider as its closest overall replacement, points to Tomb Raider (2013) for cinematic action-adventure similarities, and recommends Shadow of the Tomb Raider for tombs, jungle danger, and exploration-focused tension. That ranking is editorial judgment, not an official equivalence or a measured test. The roundup’s comparison of games like Uncharted can help you choose among them by the aspect you want most.
- Choose Rise of the Tomb Raider for the roundup’s closest overall match.
- Choose Tomb Raider (2013) if cinematic action-adventure is your priority.
- Choose Shadow of the Tomb Raider if tombs, jungle settings, and exploration-led tension appeal most.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: archaeological pulp, another hero
For an archaeology-led adventure centered on an iconic character, consider Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It suits players who want pulp treasure-hunt energy, but it is not a direct substitute for Chloe and Nadine’s blend of shooting, puzzles, and character banter: the protagonist, mechanics, and feel differ. The recommendation roundup describes it as the pulp treasure-hunt option, rather than claiming a one-to-one match.
Rank #2
- Critically-acclaimed developer Naughty Dog's standalone Uncharted adventure starring Chloe Frazer.
- Venture deep into India's Western Ghats as Chloe and Nadine recover an ancient artifact and fight their way through fierce opposition to prevent the region from falling into chaos.
- UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy will come with access to UNCHARTED 4: A Thief's End Multiplayer and Survival modes. Online multiplayer on PS4 requires a PlayStation Plus membership, sold separately.
- Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) Content Description: Blood, language, suggestive themes, use of alcohol and tobacco, violence
What if traversal matters more than familiar combat?
STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor is a good fit if you enjoyed moving through varied spaces, exploring for secrets and treasures, overcoming obstacles, and solving mysteries, but are willing to trade pistols for lightsaber and Force combat. EA’s official game page describes traversal skills, equipment, rideable creatures, and Force abilities as parts of that exploration. Its combat identity is distinctly different from The Lost Legacy, so pick it for movement and adventure spaces, not for the same gunplay or treasure-hunter banter.

The Last of Us Part I: compelling character work, a much darker mood
If your main reason for seeking another game is Naughty Dog’s character-focused storytelling, The Last of Us Part I is worth considering. PlayStation describes it in terms of emotional storytelling and memorable characters, and lists the game for PS5 and PC on its official game page. The important difference is tone: this is a much heavier emotional experience, with tighter survival tension, rather than another light treasure-hunt adventure. Choose it for story, not because you expect the same mood or action mix.
Rank #3

Other matches for a particular taste
These options share selected qualities with The Lost Legacy, but are broader taste matches rather than close replicas:
- Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut for cinematic exploration and polished action in a samurai setting.
- Horizon Forbidden West for open-world scale, ruins, and traversal.
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy for ensemble banter and blockbuster pacing.
- A Plague Tale: Requiem for darker, story-first progression.
Should you play another Uncharted game first?
If you have not played Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, it is the natural same-series next step. PlayStation says the games in the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection have distinct stories that can be enjoyed without playing every other entry, while also noting continuity across the series. The collection contains both Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, remastered for PS5 and PC, so check your library before buying if you already own Chloe and Nadine’s adventure. PlayStation Direct lists a US PS5 disc edition; check the US PlayStation Direct listing for current availability, and confirm that your PS5 has a disc drive before choosing a physical copy.
