Firefox already has a built-in way to capture an entire webpage, so you may not need an add-on. Open the page’s context menu and choose Take Screenshot, or press Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows/Linux or Command+Shift+S on Mac, then select Save full page. Add-ons make sense when you need extra editing, export formats, or capture modes.
Use Firefox’s built-in full-page screenshot first
Firefox can capture the full page, the visible area, or a region you select. Mozilla’s instructions show Save full page as the full-page option. You can open Take Screenshot from the page context menu or use the keyboard shortcut. See Mozilla’s Firefox Screenshots instructions.

- Open the webpage you want to capture.
- Right-click the page and choose Take Screenshot, or press Ctrl+Shift+S (Windows/Linux) or Command+Shift+S (Mac).
- Choose Save full page.
- Review the capture and save it to your device.
If you want quicker access, Mozilla documents adding the screenshot command to the toolbar. This built-in route is the simplest choice for ordinary full-page captures; consider an add-on when you need tools such as annotations, more file formats, or a saved local history.

What extensions cannot capture—and how to interpret privacy claims
Firefox prevents extensions from running on some browser-protected pages. The listings specifically identify restrictions for internal pages, addons.mozilla.org, and other extensions’ pages; OpenScreenShot also says protected pages cannot be captured. No add-on should be assumed to capture every tab or page. If a capture fails only on a protected page, try Firefox’s built-in screenshot workflow where available; extensions cannot override browser protections.
Privacy statements on add-on listings are disclosures by their developers, not independent audits. OpenScreenShot’s listing says screenshots are not uploaded and usage telemetry is not collected. Full Page Screenshot & Webpage to PDF says processing is local and it makes no network requests. Before installing either or any other extension, review its current permissions and privacy policy, and decide whether those disclosures suit the pages you capture.
