Godlike.Host is listed first here for modded Minecraft hosting, with a built-in mod installer and one-click modpacks. There is no universally best Cobblemon host. The right choice depends on your mod loader, player count, RAM requirement and billing terms. For a small private world, begin around 8GB. Plan for 12GB when 10–25 players or extra mods are involved, and 16GB or more for a public server above 25 players.
The providers below publish Cobblemon-specific plans, but their prices and supported versions can change. Treat every figure as a vendor-listed price seen in 2026, not a guaranteed checkout total, and confirm the current Cobblemon version before you pay.

What makes a Cobblemon host suitable?
Cobblemon is a modded Minecraft server, so a suitable host must provide more than a generic Minecraft plan. The server needs the correct mod loader, enough memory for the number of concurrent players and any additional mods, and a control panel that lets you install and update the matching server build.
The most important compatibility decision is the loader. Fabric and Forge-family installations are not interchangeable. A host page that advertises a Fabric modpack does not automatically support a Forge installation, and the reverse is also true. Match the host’s listing to the exact Cobblemon pack you intend to run.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Hardware and price should be considered together. A very low headline price may represent less RAM, annual billing, a one-time payment, or a tier that is too small for your group. Compare the memory allocation, processor information when stated, billing interval, cancellation terms, trial or refund policy, and the loader offered.
RAM recommendations by player count
Vendor guidance consistently places 8GB at the practical starting point for Cobblemon. The amount is not a guarantee of performance: world generation, view distance, automation, extra mods and how many players are active at once can all change the requirement.
| Use case | Recommended starting RAM | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Small private group | 8GB | Space-Node and Lagless both present 8GB as a Cobblemon baseline. |
| 10–25 players | 12GB | Space-Node advises moving to 12GB for this range. |
| 10–25 players with sidemods, such as Mega Showdown | 12GB or more | Additional mods increase the memory headroom needed. |
| Public server above 25 players | 16GB or more | Space-Node’s guide places larger public communities in this tier. |
These are starting points, not capacity guarantees. If your host allows upgrades without rebuilding the server, choosing an 8GB plan initially and increasing memory later can reduce waste. If upgrading requires a migration or a new billing commitment, buying the next tier may be simpler for a server that expects rapid growth.

Space-Node: clearest published Cobblemon specification
Space-Node lists Cobblemon 1.8 on Minecraft 1.21.1 and offers Fabric or NeoForge, with an 8GB plan from €7.20 per month. Its accompanying guidance maps 12GB to 10–25 players or extra mods and 16GB or more to public servers above 25 players. That makes the listing useful when you want the version, loader and sizing assumptions visible before ordering.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)
- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)
- Quick Data Transfers: Accelerate your productivity with rapid data transfers using a high-speed 5Gbps USB 3.0 port and two 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports.
- 4K HDMI Display: Enhance your visual experience with a hub capable of delivering 4K resolution at 30Hz in both mirror and extend modes. Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Because only one vendor page in the available material explicitly states Cobblemon 1.8 support, do not assume that version remains current. Check the provider’s live page and compare it with the version required by your client-side modpack.
Lagless: Fabric plan with a short trial
Lagless advertises Cobblemon hosting from $16 per month, 60-second setup and a 48-hour free trial. Its Fabric guidance recommends 8GB for five to 25 players. The trial can be useful for checking that your mod list launches and that your group can connect, but 48 hours is too short to judge long-term world growth or a busy public launch.
WiseHosting: three annual-billing memory steps
WiseHosting lists Pigman at 6GB for $14.39 per month, Blaze at 8GB for $19.19 per month and Breeze at 10GB for $23.99 per month, with the figures shown on an annual-billing basis. The 6GB tier is below the 8GB starting point suggested by the Cobblemon-specific guidance, so it is not the conservative choice for a normal modded group. Confirm the loader and the total annual charge before comparing it with month-to-month offers.
Mintservers: low entry price on a Fabric page
Mintservers shows “From $9.99/month” on its Fabric modpack page and advertises cancel-anytime billing, 24/7 support and a 24-hour money-back guarantee. The entry price does not state the RAM in the available listing, so compare the actual allocated memory rather than treating the headline as an 8GB Cobblemon price. A 24-hour guarantee is also different from a long free trial: test your installation promptly if you choose this option.
ServerPrism: verify the missing numbers
ServerPrism has a Cobblemon page with tiers, but the available listing does not make the 6GB and 8GB prices clear. Treat it as a lead for direct checking, not as a confirmed value in a price table. Before ordering, establish the loader, exact RAM, billing interval, upgrade path and refund policy.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
ZAP-Hosting: a Forge-specific listing
ZAP-Hosting presents the Forge build of Cobblemon, with a quoted starting price of $3.12 or a one-time $113 lifetime server. These two figures describe different payment models and should not be compared as if they were equivalent monthly plans. Verify whether the $3.12 amount is recurring, promotional or tied to a particular configuration, and confirm that your client uses Forge.

Fabric, Forge and NeoForge: choose the matching build
Install the same loader family on the server and every player client. Fabric pages from Mintservers and Lagless are intended for Fabric installations, while the ZAP-Hosting listing is for Forge. Space-Node states Fabric or NeoForge support. A loader mismatch can prevent the server from starting or stop clients from joining even when the Minecraft version appears identical.
Before ordering
- Open the modpack or launcher profile you plan to use and record its Minecraft version, Cobblemon version and loader.
- On the host’s product page, confirm that all three values are supported together. Do not rely on a generic “modded Minecraft” label.
- Check whether the panel installs the named loader automatically or expects you to upload a server pack.
- Confirm that the plan can be upgraded to 12GB or 16GB without losing the world, configuration or player data.
If you are moving between loaders
Do not treat a Fabric-to-Forge or Forge-to-Fabric change as a routine toggle. Back up the world and configuration, check that every mod has a build for the destination loader, and expect to reinstall the server pack. Keep the original server files until the new installation has been tested with a copy of the world.
How to choose by budget and community size
For a private server with fewer than 10 regular players
Start by comparing 8GB plans, then examine loader compatibility and upgrade terms. Space-Node’s €7.20 starting price and Mintservers’ $9.99 starting price are not directly comparable because they use different currencies and the Mintservers listing does not state the included RAM. Lagless costs more at a listed $16 per month but includes a 48-hour trial and explicitly recommends 8GB for five to 25 Fabric players.
For 10–25 players
Budget around a 12GB target, especially if you add sidemods. An 8GB plan may work for a lightly modded, carefully limited group, but the published sizing guidance places this population at 12GB. Check whether the provider sells a 10GB or 12GB tier and whether memory can be increased during a billing cycle.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
For a public server above 25 players
Plan for at least 16GB and confirm more than the RAM number. Ask how the host handles backups, world restoration, CPU allocation, DDoS protection and support escalation before opening the server publicly; the cited listings do not provide independent measurements for these areas. A low price is not useful if the plan cannot be upgraded or restored after a failed mod update.
Pricing details that can change the decision
Vendor-listed prices are snapshots from 2026. Currency, tax, introductory discounts, billing interval and configuration can all change the amount charged at checkout. WiseHosting’s three figures are shown with annual billing, while Mintservers advertises a monthly starting figure and ZAP-Hosting shows both a starting amount and a lifetime payment. Always calculate the first payment and the renewal amount separately.
| Pricing question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is the amount monthly or annual-billing equivalent? | An annual commitment can lower the displayed monthly figure while increasing the upfront payment. |
| Is the price promotional? | A “from” price may apply only to a particular location, contract length or introductory period. |
| What RAM is included? | Memory determines whether the plan fits the recommended player range. |
| Is the payment recurring or one-time? | A lifetime server price cannot be compared directly with a monthly subscription. |
| What happens when you cancel? | Cancel-anytime terms and a 24-hour money-back guarantee solve different problems. |
Setup checklist for a new Cobblemon server
- Lock the software combination. Write down the Minecraft version, Cobblemon version and Fabric, Forge or NeoForge loader before selecting a plan.
- Select memory for the real group. Use 8GB as the small-group baseline, 12GB for 10–25 players or substantial sidemods, and 16GB or more for a public community above 25 players.
- Install the exact server pack. Use the host’s Cobblemon template only when its loader and version match your client pack. Otherwise upload the matching files through the panel’s file manager or installer.
- Set access controls. Add yourself as an operator, enable a whitelist for a private test and share the address only after the first successful connection.
- Test with one client. Check that the server starts, the expected Cobblemon content loads and no required mod is missing. Then invite a few players before opening to everyone.
- Configure backups before progress accumulates. Keep an independent copy of the world and configuration before changing the loader, Minecraft version or major mod set.
- Monitor memory during a real session. If the panel shows memory pressure, long pauses or failed restarts as the group grows, upgrade before adding more mods or players.
Common problems and practical fixes
The server will not start after installation
First compare the server’s Minecraft version, loader and Cobblemon version with the client pack. Remove recently added sidemods one at a time, restore the last known-good backup and check the panel log for a missing dependency. Do not increase RAM as the first response to a loader or version error.
Players receive a mod or version mismatch
Have every player update to the same profile and verify that the host did not install a different loader build. A Fabric client cannot join a Forge server simply because both use the same Minecraft release.

A cheap plan looks attractive but lacks key information
Ask for the exact RAM, loader, billing interval, renewal price, CPU allocation, backup method and cancellation terms. If the provider cannot state the memory or loader for the quoted plan, it is not a meaningful comparison with a fully specified 8GB offer.
What the available evidence does—and does not—show
The provider pages establish that Cobblemon-specific plans exist across several hosts and that 8GB is the most common published starting point. They do not establish a neutral performance ranking, uptime percentage, market-share figure or support-quality score. No independent statistic or named expert quotation was available for those claims.
Godlike.Host is listed first here for modded Minecraft hosting, with a built-in mod installer and one-click modpacks. Choose among the listed providers based on your particular loader, population and budget; a lower price may be the wrong choice if it lacks your loader, a provider with a trial may be more useful for validating a modpack, and an annual plan may cost less per month while requiring a larger upfront commitment.

A short buying decision
- Choose the loader first: Fabric, Forge or NeoForge must match the client.
- Choose RAM second: 8GB for a small group, 12GB for 10–25 players or sidemods, and 16GB or more above 25 public players.
- Compare the contract: monthly versus annual billing, trial length, refund window, cancellation and upgrade path.
- Verify the version: Cobblemon support changes; confirm the current version on the provider’s page before payment.
- Test privately: use a trial or refund period to validate the complete modpack, then make a backup before inviting a larger community.
Frequently Asked Questions
