Why a cloud playlist encoder fits replay files
Because your gameplay is already recorded, the service does not need to capture a live game session. You upload the replay files, arrange them into a playlist, and have a cloud encoder send the output to YouTube. That removes the always-on PC and home internet connection from the broadcast path, according to the services’ descriptions.

The important distinction is how much of the operation you want someone else to manage. A creator-focused playlist service handles uploaded media and continuous playback; a cloud OBS machine gives you remote access to a familiar encoder setup; an API offers configurable infrastructure but makes you responsible for estimating and operating the workflow. Before choosing, check how each service handles stream-key authorization, failed files, reconnects, broadcast rotation or archiving, storage, and support.
What to check before choosing a service
Playlist control and failure handling
- Confirm that the service accepts your replay file formats and lets you order, replace, pause, or skip files as needed.
- Ask what happens if an upload is incomplete, a file cannot be played, or the playlist reaches its end.
- Check who handles reconnects if YouTube disconnects the feed, and whether you must restart a broadcast or create a new one.
- Clarify whether stream rotation and archive management are automated or left to you. LiveGoLive says its connected mode can rotate broadcasts while a persistent stream continues; its manual stream-key approach leaves broadcast and archive management to the operator. Confirm the behavior with the service before relying on it (LiveGoLive).
Resolution, frame rate, and conversion
Match the service’s actual output capabilities to the files you plan to upload. Gyre’s YouTube directory listing describes Full HD and 4K at 30/60 FPS and a built-in converter; Cloud-OBS describes a 1080p/30 FPS setup; LiveGoLive advertises up to 4K60. These descriptions do not establish independent quality or reliability results. If preserving your source as uploaded matters, ask whether the service re-encodes, what output settings it uses, and whether that behavior changes by plan.
Storage and data handling
Compare included storage with your library size and ask whether limits apply per account, per stream, or per slot. Cloud-OBS lists 180 GB; other listed services’ storage allowances are not stated in the cited descriptions. Also review how uploads are stored, who can access them, and what happens to files after cancellation.

Authorization and account access
Some workflows use a manually entered YouTube stream key; others offer account authorization. Confirm what permissions an authorization grants, how to revoke access, and whether changing a key interrupts the stream. Treat a stream key like a password: do not post it, send it through public chat, or reuse it where access controls are unclear.
YouTube requirements for continuous gameplay streams
YouTube supports encoder-based streaming for gameplay, overlays, and external audio/video hardware. To go live, the channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream enablement can take up to 24 hours. YouTube’s setup page also states a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and 3 active streams per stream key; check the page for current rules and account-specific eligibility: Get started with live streaming.
Streaming prerecorded gameplay does not remove your responsibility for the material in it. YouTube says live content must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Make sure you have the necessary rights for game footage, soundtrack music, voice chat, overlays, and any other included material; the available service descriptions cannot determine whether a particular replay or soundtrack is cleared for rebroadcast. YouTube may restrict live-stream access (YouTube live-stream setup and policy).

StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos. Add a YouTube stream key once, upload a recording or build a playlist, and go live; the cloud loops the media, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. The same features apply to every plan; only billing length changes. It streams to YouTube only.
StreamNeo’s listed billing options are:
- Daily: $0.99 per day
- Weekly: $2.99 per week
- Monthly: $9.99 per month
- 6 months: $49.99 for 6 months
- Yearly: $89.99 a year
The first day is free with no card, once per account. Billing can be for a day, a week, a month, six months, or a year, and can be cancelled any time. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support. See StreamNeo pricing, or use the free upload-time calculator, cloud vs PC cost calculator, and copyright safety checklist.
Gyre and Upstream: directory-listed managed services
YouTube’s encoder directory is a useful place to identify products designed for live workflows. It describes Gyre for continuous prerecorded-video streams and Upstream as a 24/7 cloud studio. These descriptions establish relevance, not comparative uptime, support quality, pricing, or suitability for a particular channel. Verify current plans and operational details directly with each provider. View YouTube’s encoder directory.
Cloud-OBS: remote control, with a specified setup
Cloud-OBS describes a dedicated cloud OBS machine, browser controls to pause, resume, or skip playlist items, remote desktop access, one configured destination, 1080p/30 FPS setup, and 180 GB of storage. Its page displays €34.99/month for the first three months and €49.99/month afterward, with the introductory offer limited to the first three activations. The figures and availability are volatile; check the vendor page before ordering. Cloud-OBS details.
LiveGoLive: check waitlist and broadcast behavior
LiveGoLive advertises uploaded playlists, cloud encoding up to 4K60, and Google authorization in beta alongside manual stream-key setup. Its page shows a waitlist. The vendor also describes different broadcast-rotation behavior for connected and manual-key modes, so confirm the workflow and availability before building around it. LiveGoLive details.

1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsGoogle Cloud Live Stream API: flexible but usage-billed
The API is aimed at configurable encoding infrastructure rather than a one-price playlist subscription. Google bills active channels based on configured input/output resolutions and codec. Each active channel has a ten-minute minimum, with time beyond that rounded up to the nearest minute; distribution streams are extra outputs, and endpoints also incur hourly fees. Regional pricing and configuration affect the total, so estimate your own workload using Google’s pricing page rather than assuming it will cost less than a managed creator service.

YouTube will not let the channel go live
Check that the channel is verified and has no live-stream restriction from the previous 90 days. If live streaming has never been enabled, allow up to 24 hours for activation. Review the current eligibility guidance in YouTube’s setup help.
The cloud service cannot connect to YouTube
Check that the correct stream key is selected and that it has not been regenerated or revoked. If using account authorization, check whether the authorization is still active and has the necessary access. Do not expose the key while troubleshooting; if it has been shared publicly, replace it in YouTube and update the service.
The stream stops or restarts unexpectedly
Check the service’s status and logs, the YouTube live control room, and whether the source playlist contains a failed or unsupported file. Find out whether the provider retries automatically, resumes the same broadcast, or requires you to start another one. Do not assume a marketing claim such as “stable” is an uptime guarantee.
Video is missing, out of order, or not playing
Verify that each upload completed, confirm playlist order, and test a short sample file before starting a long-running show. Ask the provider about supported formats, maximum file size, and what it does when a file fails; those limits are not established for every service here.
The picture does not match the replay file
Compare the source file’s resolution and frame rate with the service’s stated output mode. Ask whether it converts or re-encodes uploads and whether the configured destination can preserve the format you need. Published capabilities differ: for example, Cloud-OBS describes 1080p/30 FPS setup, while Gyre’s directory listing describes Full HD and 4K at 30/60 FPS.

Broadcasts or archives accumulate unexpectedly
Check who manages broadcast rotation, archive creation, and cleanup. YouTube stream limits apply per channel and per key, and a manual-key workflow may leave those tasks with you. Review the current YouTube limits and the selected provider’s documented behavior before enabling multiple continuous feeds.

Cost planning for a full-time stream
Do not compare a monthly subscription with an API estimate until you have included the same workload. A continuous service may bundle storage, playlist controls, and recovery into its slot; a usage-billed API can add costs for active channel time, resolution, codec, extra outputs, endpoints, and regional rates. For a managed option, also account for how much replay storage you need and whether the listed capacity is included in the plan. Check current vendor listings, since displayed prices and offers can change.
If comparing against a local PC, include electricity, reliable internet, hardware wear, and the cost of keeping the machine available. StreamNeo’s cloud vs PC cost calculator can help frame that comparison.
