Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →For a prerecorded-video loop that should stay live while your computer is off, StreamNeo is the most direct fit: upload a video or playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and start the cloud stream. It keeps the channel running from the cloud, supports uploaded video up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives you the first day free. For other workflows, the right choice depends on whether you need prerecorded playback, a managed continuous channel, or a configurable live-transcoding pipeline.
Which cloud service fits your 24/7 stream?
These services are not interchangeable. A loop of uploaded recordings is different from a continuous camera or event feed, and a cloud transcoder is not automatically a turnkey YouTube broadcaster. YouTube describes an encoder as software or hardware that converts video into a digital format for streaming; its verified encoder directory includes both cloud and broadcast-oriented options. YouTube also notes that listed products are not made by YouTube. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains the destination and stream-key workflow.
| Option | Best-supported fit | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud looping of uploaded recordings to YouTube | Upload a video or playlist, add the YouTube stream key, and go live. It runs without a computer left on, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and includes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. See StreamNeo. |
| Gyre | Cloud-based continuous broadcasts of prerecorded videos | YouTube’s verified encoder directory describes Gyre for the 24/7 prerecorded-video use case. The cited YouTube page does not establish current pricing or service terms. YouTube encoder directory and setup. |
| Wowza Video | Managed 24×7 channel workflow | Wowza documents a 24×7 channel, but says continuous streaming is unavailable in trial accounts and requires enablement. Confirm account prerequisites before planning a launch. Wowza’s 24×7 channel guide. |
| Google Cloud Live Stream API | Engineering-led live signal transcoding | Accepts RTMP or SRT input and produces HLS or DASH output; it supports a backup input. Google’s quota documentation says a channel may be restarted after 24 hours in an active streaming state. The reviewed documentation does not establish a turnkey direct-to-YouTube package. API overview and quotas and limits. |
| AWS Elemental MediaLive | Broadcast-grade cloud processing architecture | YouTube lists it as a verified encoder, and AWS publishes a live-streaming implementation guide. The available material does not establish a simple turnkey 24/7 YouTube package. YouTube encoder directory and AWS implementation guide. |
There are no comparable current prices, regional availability details, or independently established uptime figures for these options in the cited material, so a price or reliability ranking would not be justified. Compare the actual workflow, account requirements, restart and failover design, operator workload, archive needs, and total cost before committing.
Pick the workflow before picking the service
Prerecorded video loop
Use a service built to replay uploaded recordings if the content is a continuous music, ambience, teaching, or other scheduled video stream. You do not need a camera feed for this workflow. Check playlist behavior, what happens when a source file ends, how to replace or reorder files, and whether the service restarts the broadcast after a platform-side disconnect.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Live camera or event feed
A live feed needs a reliable source encoder and a plan for signal loss, backup input, and reconnection. YouTube’s guidance for encoder-based live events is to check the preview, monitor audio and video quality, verify that the intended audience can access the event, and test failover. For higher-production-value events, YouTube recommends professional-grade hardware encoders; hardware is an optional production component, not a requirement for every cloud workflow. See YouTube’s live streaming tips.
Cloud transcoding pipeline
An API such as Google Cloud Live Stream API receives a live signal, transcodes it, and publishes supported HLS or DASH outputs. That can be useful in an engineered delivery chain, but it does not by itself prove that the result is being sent directly to YouTube. Map the output handoff and test it with the intended YouTube workflow before treating it as an end-to-end service.

Set up a continuous stream without losing control of the channel
- Confirm the source and destination. Decide whether you are broadcasting uploaded recordings or a live feed, then create or schedule the YouTube live event. Use YouTube’s encoder instructions for the server URL and stream key: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Configure the chosen cloud service. For a prerecorded loop, add the recordings or playlist and check the playback order. For a live pipeline, configure the input, transcoding output, and downstream handoff; if using Google Cloud Live Stream API, account for its documented 24-hour active-channel restart behavior and design a controlled restart and reconnection.
- Connect the stream key securely. Treat the YouTube stream key as a credential: enter it only in the chosen service’s stream destination settings, do not publish it, and rotate it in YouTube if it is exposed. Verify the server URL and selected event before starting.
- Preview before relying on it. Start a test stream and inspect picture, audio, synchronization, and playback continuity. Confirm the event is visible to the intended audience and test what happens when the input or connection drops. YouTube’s operational checklist is in its live streaming tips.
- Plan for archives and platform rules. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; do not assume a longer continuous stream will be archived in the same way. Review rights for every video and audio track, and check YouTube’s current live-streaming and monetization requirements. YouTube Partner Program members can monetize a live stream, but eligibility does not guarantee that a particular continuous-stream format qualifies. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance.
- Monitor the first run. Check the YouTube preview and live status, the cloud service’s playback or input status, and audio/video quality. Confirm recovery behavior rather than assuming a service description amounts to an uptime guarantee.
Or let it run in the cloud

What to verify before paying
- Account access: Wowza’s documented 24×7 workflow needs enablement and is unavailable in trial accounts; establish eligibility first.
- Restart handling: For Google Cloud Live Stream API, plan around the documented channel restart after 24 hours of active streaming. For every service, test recovery and any required operator action.
- Archive expectations: YouTube’s automatic-archive statement applies to streams under 12 hours; plan a separate recording or archive workflow if a longer broadcast must be retained.
- Rights and monetization: A cloud service does not grant rights to use music or video, nor does it guarantee YouTube monetization. Review copyright permissions and current platform policies for the material you intend to stream.
- Cost and terms: Request current pricing and confirm regional availability, storage or processing limits, and service terms directly with the provider. The sources cited here do not support an apples-to-apples cost or uptime comparison.
