How to choose an alternative to Amazon Prime
Start with your actual shopping and viewing habits, not a retailer’s headline savings estimate. Check where you place orders, whether you need shipped parcels or same-day grocery delivery, how often you would use those benefits, and whether you want streaming included or prefer to choose a service separately.

How to interpret Walmart’s savings figure
Walmart’s membership page reports average savings of $382 per year among annual members who had been members for at least 12 months. Walmart excludes the $98 annual membership fee from that figure and uses its own comparison basis. Target Circle 360: a fit for Target shoppers
Target Circle 360 focuses on eligible shipping and delivery benefits. Target lists free fast shipping, same-day delivery, monthly freebies, and other member benefits. Its help page specifies unlimited eligible same-day delivery on orders of $35 or more, free two-day shipping on hundreds of thousands of items, an extra 30 days for returns, and access to preferred shoppers. Choose Walmart+ if Walmart is already part of your routine
Walmart+ is worth comparing with Prime if you regularly order from Walmart.com or use Walmart grocery delivery and would also use one of its streaming choices. Separate the parcel-shipping rules from grocery delivery rules when estimating value: the former is listed with no order minimum, while the latter is described for orders over $35 and remains subject to restrictions.

Choose Target Circle 360 if Target delivery is the main need
Circle 360 may suit shoppers who frequently order eligible Target items or use its same-day delivery. Evaluate it on those benefits and the returns extension, rather than assuming it includes entertainment streaming.
Split shopping and streaming if neither bundle fits
If you rarely shop at either retailer, or do not want an ad-supported streaming choice, compare the cost of the specific delivery benefits and streaming service you would actually use. A bundle is only useful when its included benefits match your habits; no independent, like-for-like estimate establishes that either membership will save a typical household a particular amount versus Prime.
