For voice notes, meeting notes, or documents you already have, Todoist Task Capture Assist can extract proposed tasks for review. Superlist Talk is another voice-first option, combining task creation with dictated notes and lists.

Ramble is designed for speaking naturally rather than dictating a perfectly formatted list. Doist says it can interpret task details including dates, deadlines, projects, priorities, durations, recurring rules, and assignees. It also supports live spoken edits, so you can change a detail while talking. The feature is available on iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, and web, and Doist’s January 2026 announcement listed 38 supported languages. Confirm current language availability in Todoist, particularly if you rely on a specific language or locale.

This makes Ramble a strong documented fit if your habit is to talk through what you need to do and let the app organize the result. It does not mean every spoken task will be captured correctly. Doist reported its internal end-to-end task-creation success rate rose from approximately 40% in October 2025 to approximately 62% in December 2025. Those are company-reported figures, not an independent accuracy test, and they do not compare Ramble with other products.
Doist also reported 76,000 beta users and approximately 290,000 sessions in Ramble’s first three weeks. These adoption figures indicate early use, not task accuracy or user outcomes. Doist’s statement that Ramble audio is processed securely and is not stored or used for model training is a vendor claim, not independent verification.

Best for existing notes and files: Todoist Task Capture Assist
If you already have the words captured—as a transcript, meeting notes, or a file—Task Capture Assist is the more direct Todoist workflow. It accepts pasted text, images, PDFs, Markdown files, and plain-text files. You can add instructions about what to extract, then review, edit, or remove proposed tasks before confirming them. Todoist’s guide describes the feature as beta and available without opting in.

It can extract task details such as name, description, date and time, project, priority, section, label, deadline, duration, and assignee. Subtasks and custom reminders are listed as unsupported, so review the preview for anything that depends on those structures. For a transcript of a meeting, for example, you can supply the transcript and specify that you want action items; check names, dates, and ownership before adding the suggestions.
Todoist says text and file inputs are not shared with third parties or used for AI training, while usage data may be temporarily stored on its secure servers for debugging and improvement. That is Todoist’s own description of its handling, not an independent privacy audit.

Best for voice tasks plus notes and lists: Superlist Talk
Superlist Talk is an AI voice assistant within a task-and-notes app. According to Superlist’s help center, it can create simple tasks with due dates, handle multiple tasks with subtasks, dictate longer notes and lists, transcribe voice notes, and add dictated context to a task.

Talk is included in Superlist Pro, according to the help article. The documentation does not provide a comparable independent benchmark for recognition or task extraction, so there is no sound basis here to call Talk more or less accurate than Ramble.
How to choose without an accuracy leaderboard
- Choose Ramble if you want to speak directly into a task manager, include details as you go, and make spoken corrections during capture.
- Choose Task Capture Assist if the useful content already exists as text, a transcript, an image, or a supported document and you want to inspect suggested tasks before adding them.
- Consider Superlist Talk if you want voice-created tasks alongside dictated notes and lists, and its Pro access and list-audio placement suit your workflow.
- For sensitive material, read each vendor’s current privacy terms and assess them against your needs. The statements cited above are vendor descriptions, not independent verification.
Whichever route you use, treat AI output as a draft: verify who owns each action, the exact date, and whether a sentence is truly a task before it becomes part of your to-do list. The reviewed product sources describe capabilities and plan access; they do not establish a comparable independent accuracy winner.
